   We pumped billions into to space program in the 60s and early 70s. We had an economic boom as a result of huge proportions with a $7 return on every $1 the government on space.

   Now instead of leading the way for all of mankind, we get to try to catch an overpriced cab ride with our “buddies” in the East in a beat up Skoda with a couple bottle rockets duct taped on for good measure.
