Let’s face it, 23 years of Microsoft PowerPoint have done more damage to America’s national security than 50 years of Soviet espionage.
Let’s face it, 23 years of Microsoft PowerPoint have done more damage to America’s national security than 50 years of Soviet espionage.
If someone wrote a virus that destroyed PowerPoint, the US military would cease to exist.
I’m just glad Ike didn’t have powerpoint while planning the Normandy invasion.
Like I said over on Le Blog, if you don’t live in the military/contractor world, you have no idea how much of a problem PowerPoint Addiction really is.
As Mr. Mackey would say, “It’s bad, m’kay?”
Vint Cerf once said, “Power corrupts. PowerPoint corrupts absolutely.”
When one of my daughters was told to submit a Power Point presentation
for the “Final PAPER” for one of her Master’s clsses I knew that POWERPOINT
must die.
Oh come now. PowerPoint is just a tool. Any tool used badly will make a mess.
Is this really a bad powerpoint, or is the problem just really freaking complicated?
Oh sweet Jesus help us all. The only thing any military officer needs to see is:
1. Where I am
2. Where the enemy is
3. What’s between us
I’ve served my time in the military and have my 1000 hour Powerpoint patch but that chart…oh MY GOD…
