Just who is Trifecta’s Man of the Decade? I’ll never tell…
Never? What, are Scott and Bill doing the announcement?
You guys certainly seem to be doing things by a different set of criteria than Time does. They talk about most influential, for good or ill – I’m pretty sure both Stalin and Hitler “won” it, for example. By that definition, Bush is the clear pick – the fellow really did define the decade in a way that nobody else did.
As for my favourite, which is what you seemed to be going for, I think you’re all kind of crazy. All three of your picks are far too flawed to be serious candidates for that title. Yes, they’re better than their Democrat counterparts, but they’re not nearly good enough. I’m not sure who the “coolest important person of the decade” title should go ought to be, but someone like Gen. Petraeus or Larry and Sergey at Google(yes, even with the China thing) would seem to make more sense. I’m too disgusted with politicians lately to be giving any of them honours.
