Speak to the Wrist – Obama is Pissed
How to lose friends and infuriate people, Part XVIII:
A visibly angry Barack Obama threw down the gauntlet at China and other developing nations Friday, declaring that the time has come “not to talk but to act” on climate change.
Emerging from a multinational meeting boycotted by Chinese Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Obama warned delegates that U.S. offers of funding for poor nations would remain on the table “if and only if” developing nations, including China, agreed to international monitoring of their greenhouse gas emissions.
And China’s thinking, “Obama’s going to come to us for the money he’s promised to give to Uganda or wherever in the first place.” (And isn’t it so typically liberal to pretend at virtue by giving away other people’s money?) So, yeah, threatening to cut off the borrowing isn’t likely to spur China into action.
Maybe if Obama tried holding his breath…

Wow. He really had the huevos to say that now’s the time “not to talk but to act”? Really?
ALL this guy does is talk!!
I love it.
“Maybe if Obama tried holding his breath…”
Hey, it would cut down on CO2 emissions.
(And relax lefties, it is a joke. I do not wish to see Dear Liar dead. Resignation, on the other hand. . . )
Obama is going to be really “pissed” in 2010. He will try and exact revenge on the American people for their betrayal of his policies. I am also not saying this to get a cheap laugh—I am dead serious! Obama is soon going to be a very dangerous man. He is narcissist and believes the world should revolve around him. God help those who dare dissent. We had better hope that Joe Biden is ready to move into the White house.
My thoughts on the results from Dopenhagen so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkGkv7NWyl4
Our Marxist-Mooslim in Chief is sinking like a stone. How low can he go? This is too funny!
Hey limp-wrists (aka, libs)…. you better get used to saying “Madame President” in three years.
This country needs a strong, active, plain spoken (non-academic/lawyer-speak) woman in charge, who’s not a wimp like Barry. Someone who puts the USA first – not the “planet”. Free enterprise, not government sponsored “economic development” (aka, socialism), limited goverment, srong armed forces, individual liberty – not the collective in Barry’s school books.
Go Sarah Go!
David is correct there’s an online game called Obama coup 2011 or something to that effect saw a piece about it on PJ tv. Haven’t checked it out yet but the premise is that the left refuses to accept the 2010 elections. When the all of the left is out to get you paranoia is just common sense.
A trickle down the leg ?
The stress of the best-estimate
losses in the 2010 elections is
bad enough; If the economy dips
again, and/or a foreign affairs
crisis occurs, the One, and the
rest of the Feds, will be damp
daily; There could be a major
Circulation of Elites, Lions
replacing Foxes who have fled.
President Palin’s 1st Foreign
Policy speech; “The Russians can
see Alaska from their coastline,
_and_that_is_as_close_as they_
are_going_to _get.”
I would suggest that Mr. Thomson and Walls calm down, take a deep breath, and maybe a long toke.
In other words, chill out.
Barry Obama is just one more Ivory Tower liberal who’s been bitch-slapped by reality.
Y’all remind me of some of the goofier liberals back in ’04, who were convinced that Dubya was going to postpone or steal the election…
Casey: While I can’t speak for Mr. Thomson, I’m perfectly calm, as I suspect is Mr. Thomson. Some what remarkable considering our lack of illusions about the qualities and characteristics of the current regime. One could make the case that Mr. Obama isn’t really a leftist but, an opportunistic thug, he is not an “Ivory Tower liberal”. If such creatures still actually exist they must be hiding in those towers. The Social Democrats and their Bolshevik allies have been waiting for their moment in history since the early 70s, this congressional majority is the most extreme left of any in our history. Their control of the Senate with this House and a far left President is the opportunity of their lifetimes they will never get this close again and if the left loses the house it’s over forever. Perhaps it’s escaped your attention this regime doesn’t react well to criticism let alone being denied what they’re after. The left’s lack of an actual moral basis for existence makes them capable of anything. While I didn’t have any thing to do with making “Obama Coup 2011” it’s premise had occurred to me long before I heard about it. While I don’t assert that this is their plan it is worth noting that according to the PJ vid about it, many of the people who are playing this game choose the liberal side, their opponents don’t get to kill people.
I see I have uncovered one of the legendary realists, who demonstrate an impressively world-weary wisdom far beyond those of mortal men.
Your statement “The left’s lack of an actual moral basis for existence makes them capable of anything.” tells me all I need to know about you.
The funny thing is your mirror image posts regularly at HuffPo, the Daily Kos, or maybe even Democratic Underground, except that they’re convinced the conservatives have no moral basis, ad nauseum.
I do agree the administration (in case you forgot, they won fairly) reacts poorly to criticism, but that’s not unusual for university elites or machine politicians who are more used to pushing buttons to run the machine, as opposed to (God forbid) listening to the electorate.
As for “Obama Coup 2011,” I’ll take that as seriously as I did the Bush Shootout game; great fun for the whole family.
@ 10. Casey: the Left’s moral victory
Hmm..
“To lose, and be defeated, is bearable;
To win, and be defeated, is maddening.”
The Left has won, politically, and is
about to lose, economically; They are
not going to take that well.
No need for sophisticated statistical
analysis of HCR, C&T, polls, etc. ad
nauseum; Watch the world economic news.
@10 Casey: Your need to indulge in snide remarks about the commentator before addressing the comments tells me all “I need to know about you.”
I would not dispute that they won fairly. I do dispute that they won honestly. The extreme leftist nature of this regimes agenda was concealed from the electorate who thought Obama was a moderate. Despite this, they believe they have a “Mandate” to do what ever they want. This regime refuses to accept that there are any constitutional or statutory limits on policies they can implement. While ignoring constitutional restraints is nothing new in the last 80 years this regimes takes it to new highs. In my opinion this regime actually believes that one can make jobs and higher taxes simply by smacking capitalism hard enough. If their economic policies aren’t working the solution is to smack harder. The left actually believes it’s own mythology. Do You?
When they suffer the inevitable losses next Nov. they will freak.
The “jist” of you commentary appears to be that I’m a far right wing ideologue and that the current regime is just another crop of classic liberals. You may be correct about me I can assure you that you’re way off about them.
