Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no:
It’s going to be awfully hard to avoid President Obama on television this Sunday.
The president is going to appear on five Sunday talk shows – five – to press his case for health care, White House officials disclosed. That is a presidential record.
Well, you can probably guess what next Monday’s “Hair of the Dog” will be about.
Either that, or I need to put in for some vacation time. On second thought, scratch that. If the President thinks it’s important enough to make all the rounds, then it’s silly enough for me to ridicule as mercilessly as I know how.
Which reminds me, I’m not sure what it was about this week’s episode, but it’s gotten more feedback — and overwhelmingly positive — than any of the 20 or 30 preceding shows. So, thanks for that. And if you’ve got an explanation, I’d sure like to hear it.

I’ll watch if Kanye West also a guest on at least one of the shows.
Make that “if Kanye West is also a guest”. Editing: it’s the thing to do before submitting. Also: socks, then shoes. Got it.
Big thumbs up on this weeks episode. Explanation for the feedback? Three things: Quality, Timing, Poignancy. You’re creeping into that “must see TV” (or whatever you call web broadcasting. somebody invent a short catch handle for that will ya) catagory. Keep up the grat work!
errr… that should read “great” sorry.
I don’t have a dog in this fight because I don’t have a television, but isn’t it good news for us conservatives that he’s appearing on television again? It looks to me as if the American people trust him less every time he talks at them. Not me, of course; I never trusted him to begin with.
Overexposure is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
He’s supposed to be on Glenn Beck’s TV show on Monday too. Talk about “must see TV”….
Jay –
I’ve never watched Beck’s show; thinking now isn’t the time to start.
Something tells me that this weekend will require more than the usual amounts of vodka to counteract the involuntary twitching.
Stephen,
Not to go too OT here, but I am a fan of Becks radio show. I’ve listened for years. He’s always defined himself as libertarian, and that’s probably close.
He’s gotten a bit more out there recently (and a lot more preachy), but he does still seem to back up his claims with research and fact finding, and he admits it when he’s wrong.
But I can barely stand to watch his TV show. I’m still not quite sure why. Maybe the TV show’s producers try to include more over the top content and hype. But its not the same as his radio show, and I don’t like it. But Monday’s show will be in the DVR waiting for me when I get home…
Well, I gave you a thumbs up on your video, and I found my way here/there by a meandering trail that started at either Michelle Malkin’s website or Dana Loesch’s – don’t remember which.
Keep up the awesome!
It amazes me that he still hasn’t gotten decent advisers. He still thinks his golden tongue will win the day against all comers and apparently nobody around him has the guts to suggest otherwise.
OT: thank you.
As long as he isn’t on any of the football games. Or baseball games.
I hear he’s going to be taking part in the potato sack race with Jamie Farr on this weeks episode of “Battle of the network stars”.
Does anyone else remember the movie “Americathon”?
Steve,
Have been reading you for a long, long time at Vodkapundit but just starting to become a regular to your PJTV segments. Liking them a lot. Also like Alfonso, and Crowder. So PJTV is just now becoming a regular stop on my daily internet rounds. Keep up the good work.
He’s also going to be on “Dancing With the Czars”.
(See Steve’s other post about the Boob Czar. And..speaking as a woman, I think they’re real.)
How many of those talk shows will ask the President about the sudden abandonment of our allies Poland and the Czech Republic on the 70th Anneversary of the Russian invasion of Poland? Will anyone in the state-run media even ask? How about turning his back on democracy in Honduras? When will the state-run media bother to ask that one?
Jaymaster, Beck is a self-described conservative (which is not equal to libertarian), and a Mormon. I’m not slamming him, but I seriously doubt his combination of conservatism and Mormonism (these people think coffee is a non-allowable drug) can allow any serious adherence to even “small-l” libertarian principles.
