This is pretty much all I’ll have to say about the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Bill Whittle hosts today’s Trifecta, and has a video you probably haven’t seen before. It was not the easiest thing to watch.

Hats off to all three of you.
I’ll just quote some Darryl Worley lyrics:
They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it’s too disturbing for you and me
It’ll just breed anger that’s what the experts say
If it was up to me I’d show it every day
The video has not been available since midmorning. What’s going on?
I won’t watch the footage. I haven’t seen it since 2001. I’ll be showing to my boys when they become teens, but I don’t want to see it ever again. I skipped to the parts where you spoke, Stephen.
But I’ll never forget and I’ll recommend to my boys that they enlist.
Thanks to all our troops today for keeping us safe for the last eight years. Whenever I see one of you I point you out to my boys, tell them what you are doing, and thank you.
Works for me, Lynne.
I tried again and it’s available now. I’d been trying to view it off and on since around 10 am. Very odd.
I don’t always agree with Mr. Green, but I do about this “day of service” nonsense. I didn’t realize how offended I was by the idea until I found myself writing about it this morning.
Service to others is a wonderful thing, don’t get me wrong. But not overlayed onto something like this.
