Yep, the Saturn trumps the A-10, although that puppy has an awesome all its own.
A couple years ago I was lucky enough to see someone flying a 1/12 (IIRC) scale F-16, turbine powered, just like the A-10, at the local RC field. That sucker flew too. The owner was even doing the one-quarter roll, pause, repeat maneuver. If I remember, it could reach 120mph. Very cool.
The first thing I thought of when I saw that giant scale A-10 was that World War II dummy paratrooper called “Rupert”. Dropped at night during the Normandy invasion the Germans couldn’t tell that the dummys werent real paratroopers and spent precious hours chasing around the battlefield to now effect.
If I were in the field and i wanted to have a UAV for forward reconnaissance and if that UAV were also made to look and sound just like a real live nasty aircraft like the A-10, it would have the dual effect of providing the over the hill reconnaissance while also providing a bit of misdirection towards the enemy. For example, if you’re in a russian export tank and someone says “A-10!” It tends to soil your finely crafted soviet seat cushions.
Cooler than a large scale A-10 Warthog?

Or cooler than an Anti-squirrel missile defense system?

Nothing is cooler than the Squirrel Launcher.
Better version here.
The Saturn is about 10 kinds of awesome.
Re the squirrel launcher, how the hell have we not seen a rash of exploded heads from the members of PETA?
Anytime the recipe starts off with
Take over 200 pounds of AP
mix well
Pour into umpteen aluminum motor cases….
Well, that is going to be one bitchin’ cake.
Flying rodents? I am waiting for the moose too.
