An Evening (Wasted) at the Improv

March 16, 2009 - 2:01 pm - by Stephen Green

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Hat tip to The Conservative Comeback, who also has an interesting theory about cokeheads and A/V equipment.

    Yeah…. I’m afraid while I’m laughing!

  2. 2. Jon Brooks

it takes socialism to raise an idiot.

  3. 3. John Drake

Wow. I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

Doubtless we’ll not be seeing Jon Stewart make fun of this on The Daily Show.

  4. 4. ErikZ

Actually they did a bit with Obama Uming and Ahing.

You should watch the Daily Show, it’s funny.

Believe it or not (and I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes), Jon Stewart is doing one of the best jobs in the media of pointing out and rediculing Obama’s shortcomings. Granted, that’s setting the bar pretty low, but Stewart is the only one I’m aware of who has pointed out how many of Bush’s ideas and policies have been adopted by Obama, just with more prettified language.

Aww – isn’t that cute? President Training Wheels gives improv a try. You can see the obvious conviction of belief he holds by his eloquence.

All this time I thought “breathalyzers” were used to test for alcohol consumption. And yet the audience still claps for this jackass. A lot of people get tired, but it doesn’t turn them into babbling morons. Like The Wizard of Uhhhs.

Pay no attention to the man in front of the curtain! You should be very afraid of who is behing the curtain writing the stuff for his teleprompter!

  9. 9. j

So I wonder where all the people are that used to called Bush a puppet.

This guy doesn’t go anywhere without his teleprompter and when it fails, he has zero clue of what he is talking about.

  10. 10. Pursuit

Is it time to start Demonizing Axlerod yet?

I used to think Obama was like the Wizard of Oz before Toto pulled back the curtain, and wondered if we’d ever know who is writing the script. Now I think he’s really a ventriloquist’s dummy like Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd. But who’s playing Edgar Bergen?
