55 (of 57 responding) Slate magazine employees plan to vote for Obama.
I might not agree, but I respect the hell out of their decision to go public.
Look at the bright side, at least the Brit and the Israeli and the Canadian aren’t voting, awful decent of them. After all, it can be arranged, though it probably only would matter in VA, MD and DC electoral votes are not in play.
It’s amusing how many Slaters explain their decision in terms of their scorn for all things GOP, small town, and especially Sarah Palin. Boy, she really seems to hit their hot buttons.
It’s probably lucky for Slaters and all the people like them that they are going to get their wish this year. If the last eight years have been annoying, imagine how the die-hards with Kerry-Edwards stickers on their cars (still… it’s been four years, people!) will shriek if Obama somehow loses the sure thing. I’m not sure we would want to live through that aftermath.
