Reason.com just had a video up about bacon-wrapped hotdogs and their sellers going to jail for, you know, endangering the public by serving the public what the public wanted. As for the move-every-hour nonsense, I’m baffled. I think the quality of life problems of vacant lots are worse than the quality of life problems of roach coaches. Of course, sometimes I’d rather have a roach coach over the wall than an empty lot if I had such an issue, but even then only if the wind is going the right way at all times.
Plus, every hour? Asinine.
License them, make them pass some minimal health standards, make them collect sales tax, whatever. But move every hour? Great thinking. I’ve seen roach coaches, and the environmentalist as well as the driver in me says the less driving they do the better off we all are.
It can get worse.
And better.
