I seem to recall from my high school science classes that a theory, in order to qualify for the name, needs to be specific as to what it predicts, else you can’t, you know, TEST IT.
Seems that every time I turn around, Global Warming Theory seems to magically predict exactly what just happened. It’s gonna get cold, no wait, hot, uhhh cooler THEN hot.
In order to stop global warming, we need to stop being oil addicts and decrease the political power of big oil corporations.
The movement has to come from the highest levels of authority. We need to continue investing in alternative sources of energy & power and there has been many advancements made in this field. The only problem is – how do you stop the political power machine that stands behind big corporations?
Last year, we lost several trees to a very late killing frost in April, after everything had started budding out. This year, there are some trees that haven’t got leaves out as of May 5. Plus several more inches than normal snowfall this winter.
But I guess it equals out the drought we had last summer, when we had 100+ into September.
