Lalalalalala I Can’t Hear You Lalalalalala

The reasons for the Israeli airstrike in northeastern Syria last year have become as clear as day.
Those not wishing to see daylight may continue to repeat the “There Is No Axis Of Evil” mantra as necessary.

There was no “Axis of Evil” until the evil mastermind Bush created it by so isolating these three small, peace loving countries. Oh, and the evil mastermind Bush is also the stupidest president ever.
Still, I bet a lot of the nutroots are going to claim that we created the Axis of Evil. Sigh.
As I recall, the criticisms of the President’s Axis of Evil comments were largely related to those who were not on the list, not who was.
Iran, Syria, North Korea: surely bad, surely in cahoots in many ways, and undeniably evil. But many (and from the Right as well as the Left) asked where Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Myanmar, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and many other of the doubleplusungoodnik nations were to be placed?
And it’s hardly a tremendous victory for the American Right when the Israelis do the spying, flying, and make-the-bastards-die-ing for us.
As to the photos, I have to say that nuclear plants seem to look alike. But I can’t reach the same conclusions as everyone else. I’m sure the innards of a plutonium-generating reactor and most French or American nuclear power plants look similar in photos. I’m no atomic physicist, but that’s what I would guess.
All the same: glad it’s not operational.
