   Just as much fun watching this on the BBC as they tried to explain this defeat away without trashing hillary…good fun.

   Hey, didn’t there used to be a pretty good writer with the same name, Andrew Sullivan? IIRC, he was gay but fairly conservative; I think he went on vacation to Cape Cod/Martha’s Vineyard at one point, never heard of again.

   These “thoughts” trump almost everything else AS thinks about when he writes these days!

   It could indeed be the VRWC. Not in the way Andy suspects, but whatever. We were watching the “Early/Late News” (The 11:00 news broadcast at 9pm) and saw/heard “Grant Rampy for FOX News” tell us that “Vast numbers of registered republicans have switched party so they could vote for Hillary. This is a real bad sign for the McCain campaign!”.

   We both looked each-other and did a WTF,O? Their “political reporter” is without a clue.

   So it goes…
