Late May, 2006
Whoa. Amazing shot. What lens did you use?
AF-S Nikkor 12-24mm f/4 G ED. Actual exposure at 18mm, ISO 100, f/22 at 1/40th sec.
Shot handheld on the bow of a very small fishing boat, I might add.
He’s baaaaacccck! You didn’t fall off a mountain after taking that shot, did you Stephen?
Oh, and great shot by the way…
24 ears after leaving Colorado and I still miss those deep blue skies. And real mountains.
I’m going to be fishing there next month.
It’s alive! It’s aliiiiiiive!
Which camera are you using? I’m thinking of getting a Nikon D50, but can’t afford to make that expensive a mistake.
Absolutely beautiful shot, by the way. I hope you have more.
Beautiful! Any chance you could post the original, really high resolution image? That image would make for a dandy computer desktop.
Not that I am complaining about such an absolutely stunning shot, but where are the baby pictures?
You were warned that this parenting gig took up a good deal of time, but, damn it is good to hear from you.
Beautiful picture
Damn, I knew I’d regret not having a digital camera with me on my visits to Lost Lake in CA’s Marble Mountain Wilderness during the 60′s. Whatever CO thinks it has, CA has it better! This includes jerk-offs! Mike
11 Mile Lake, huh? Is that anywhere near 11 Mile Resevoir? Kidding. Any place you can both catch trout and climb moderate rock pitches is OK with me.
Very nice photo.
Cool shot. Where abouts is that lake?
