An update to yesterday’s report from Turkey:
ISTANBUL (Reuters) – Turkish police have detained a suspected al Qaeda militant from Syria who they believe was organizing an attack on Israeli targets in Turkey, security sources said on Wednesday.
The suspect, believed to be the top figure in Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda network in Turkey, was apprehended in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir on Sunday as he attempted to board a plane for Istanbul, the sources said.
The suspected militant, identified as Syrian national “Luia Sakra,” was due to appear in an Istanbul court on Thursday, courthouse sources said.
Remember, kids: Fair trial, then hang him.
I’d like to be a fly on the wall in that interrogation room.
Do you think that Amnesty Intl. and our mainstream media will be accusing the Turks of running a gulag?

I’m willing to bet that there will be more arrests, very soon.
I feel safer.
Only problem with hanging him is that, in order to increase their chances of qualifying for E.U. membership, the Turks have done away with capital punishment…

Shaulie – Dunja worry! They’ll just keep interrogating him. Their ingenious methods will eventually deliver the desired result.

Given a choice between hanging, and spending the rest of my life in a turkish prison, I’d choose hanging.
