Things are about to get interesting in Saudi Arabia, with regards to Fahd’s succession, but my knowledge of Saudi internal politics is superficial at best.
Looks like I’m going to have to read up on Saudi politics and history ASAP to have any kind of ‘real time’ understanding of events as they unfold there.

That is extremely dependent on exactly who comes out on top in the sucession struggle, who supported them, and exactly what favors were demanded and granted in order to secure that support.
