Election reaction from some of my Blogosphere friends, with a strong emphasis on law professors I know in the real world (a partial list in no particular order):Gordon Smith must be getting very tired, because he’s been blogging nonstop all
A humbled Kerry is a more appealing Kerry, but this speech, although it is okay, doesn’t come close to Gore’s soaring rhetoric in his own concession speech. But I give Kerry credit for pleading unity. Good for him.
The way he is talking about healing the rift in this nation makes me almost, ALMOST want to applaud him…..Let’s see if he talks the talk AND walks the walk…
Kerry is doing a great job out there today. Yeah, he is throwing in a couple of almost whining lines, but only enough to give his supporters a little comfort and keep them listening for some great lines on unity and support and America.
Great job. If Edwards doesn’t go away, hopefully he learned a little bit from Kerry today.
Told y’all, placing a one-term Senator (who didn’t even show up most of the time) whose only political victory was beating The Human Swine Lauch Faircloth (which wasn’t hard, as there are dead skunks which could’ve done the same) and whose own state had disowned him probably wasn’t gonna do Kerry any good.
Yep.
Any way we can get Massachusetts to keep the critter?

Ya know, look at Tereza both before and after Kerry’s speech, I kind of got the impression that she was rather relieved he lost. Perhaps she really did not want to be First Lady and have cameramen following her around, or just did not want the job for any number of reasons.
Laura has credited her mother in law for helping Laura come across more confident and better than she would otherwise. Tereza would not have such help.
>>If Kerry had been this good on the stump, Bush might be the one making the concession speech this morning.
YES!!! Because he has gone 10 minutes with out trashing the President

Just a reminder that ‘el grande jefe’ is on in 45 minutes.
I wonder how he’s going to be now that he doesnt have the dark cloud of illegitimacy over his head?

He never had it Frank…

Edwards?
2008?
LMAO!!!
Edwards is a PUNK (in the worst sense of the word).
Was I the only one who noticed him wipe his nose like a 4-year old during the debate?
Then watching his non-concession last night I was amazed, he can’t even manage to soundly pump his fist in the air!
I nominate JE as the 2008 girly-man poster boy (girl?)!
And in regards to Kerry:
He stated things would get better much faster than people expect, because of the greatness of our country.
Hmmm…
It only took him one day to invalidate the main premise of is campaign.
Good thing America is smarter the Dem operatives believe!
The Breck Girl is a waste of a VP slot. And his dumpy shrew of a wife lacks even the class of the ungracious Theresa. To the ashcan with them.
What exactly did the Breck Girl bring to the Democratic ticket — North Carolina? His party couldn’t even hold his seat…HAH!
Hillary will grind him into talcum powder in the ’08 primaries.
