And If Pol Pot Endorsed Kerry?
Michele notices fresh hypocrisy from the left:
Eminem has become the poster boy for the left. The man who was once hailed as a racist, homophobic supporter of spousal abuse is now the king of the leftie world because he made an anti-Bush video. All is forgiven, Eminem! Bash those gays, make more videos about beating up women because you are golden, baby. As long as you come out against Bush, you could come out in favor of eating babies and no one would blink an eye.
Read the whole thing, please – it begins with a look at the reaction to BoSox pitcher Curt Schilling’s Bush endorsement.
NOTE: Hell, I won’t forgive Curt Schilling – but not because he endorsed Bush. Not hardly.

the Cards fate was sealed when they had Stapp sing God Bless America.
This is South Park syndrome in reverse. Liberals say South park is a conservative cartoon (that has Jesus host a talk show and makes fun of jews among many other things) because it also rips on environmentalists and suggests that Saddam Hussein might actually have been a bad guy.
Now Eminem, who should be an anethma to just about everything liberals claim to stand for, is held up as a hero because he’s anti-Bush.
But are you really surprised? This is the same crowd that remained silent while we liberated millions of oppressed women from the Taliban, gave away millions in AIDS help to Africa, while crime has dropped to the lowest levels ever recorded, and race relations are so good that Jesse Jackson can’t even get on TV anymore.
Liberals don’t want their issues advanced, they want their power back, and they’re willing to sell out to anyone who will help them get it back.
So what! All is fair in War and Politics….they can always disown him afterwards….the American way and all that.
gave away millions in AIDS help to Africa
Wasn’t that billions?
Stephen, you omitted the best line from that piece: “I keep getting this image of the left as horny teenage kid who makes fun of the fat chick in the class but slips behind the garage with her when she offers him a hand job.” About Schilling, sure the endorsement was nice but I still don’t like him, either. Truly disappointing finish to an otherwise fantastic season for the hometown birds. Codasco huh? Grad of the ABC league myself.
So what! All is fair in War and Politics
No, it’s not.
In fact, that attitude is why I could never vote for a Democrat, for anything. They are the party of power, and have no principles.
If you believe in democracy, that means you believe the American people have the right to get teh government they want, not the government you want them to have. Lying to them about the world, or about what you’d do if elected, or engaging in vote fraud, or deliberately preventing legal voters from voting, those are all the same thing. They are all evil and anti-democratic acts.
All is not “fair” in politics. People who think it is prove themselves utterly unqualified for power.
Haven’t you heard? Kerry’s got OBL’s endorsement in the latest tape.
You still have 1982.
Schilling needs no one’s forgiveness.
I’m thinking that the little pool of contentment that wells up every time I think “Red Sox, 2004 World Series Champions” may be just enough to get me through the election while still sane.
Maybe.
Saw but did,nt listen to one of those ads put out by the kerry freaks it if looks quite socialists to me especialy with the part about bush supposedly giving tax breaks to the rich and the socialists(communists)want to redistribute the wealth and pretend to help the needy but it ends in the usial genoside
So now we know: The Bush campaign accuses the Kerry campaign of politicizing the latest bin Laden tape, all the while thinking of it as a “gift.” I realize that politics is politics, but the Bush camp has brought us to a new low. In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, a senior GOP strategist is quoted as saying, “Anything that makes people nervous about their personal safety helps Bush.” He also called it “a little gift,” saying it helps the President but doesn’t guarantee his reelection. Meanwhile, the President continues to harangue Senator Kerry for being weak on defense and the war on terror. Who is really weak here? We gave Mr. Bush his chance to catch bin Laden – three years, in fact – though he stated he wasn’t really worried about him, didn’t think about him too much. If Mr. Bush had spent at least some time worrying about Osama bin Laden, maybe he wouldn’t be taunting us on our TV screens to this day.
What’s new with the left, as long as you agree with them your great.Remeber what they said about Zell Miller after he endorsed Bush?Zell was now a racist SOB but he was just great when he was on their side. That’s how the liberals are, free speech as long as you agree with them. Check out my blog, it’s new and I need some comments.
If Mr. Bush had spent at least some time worrying about Osama bin Laden, maybe he wouldn’t be taunting us on our TV screens to this day.
If the Bush-haters cared more about the country, the tauntings of a fleabitten terrorist who’s been hiding out in caves for the last three years might not sting them so much.
