Welcome aboard, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
You made it — just before the end of the line.

Sneezy, Sleepy, Grouchy, Doc…
All the while a Russian government official was talking as if if was a replay of the German mobilization on the Bug River in May of 1941.
A consistent paranoia is not, necessarily, a good thing.
Happy to have some realists aboard.
Considering Russia’s Axis of Weasels alliance with France and Germany, maybe the real story is that the Iron Curtain is still up, but the US and Russia have switched sides.
All hail the American-led Warsaw Pact! (What an irony typing these words on the anniversary of the pact’s demise…)
I’m trying to hunt down some of the ceremony and celebrations for tomorrow, and will post them.
Also, if I can find some demonstrations, that would be sweet (most demonstrators, like most anti-NATO graffiti, carry plaques of Lenin, or the ol’ hammer and sickle).
