NOTE: Whenever I think of wine/food pairings, I always flash back to an old Robin Williams line. How old? He was still funny. Anyway: “Night Train. Goes with meat, fish, any damn thing it wants to.”






mmmmm… bum wine.
This year a Gewurtztraminer, Tavel and my favorite Zinfandel ‘field blend’ are set aside to go w/dinner, an Aussie Tawny port designated to go w/dessert.
Blessings upon our Armed Forces, luck to the USA and her allies.

Gotta agree with Carl and not with the professor. While the zins he mentions are good, too often they way too high in alcohol not to go with food at all. Give me a good gewurtz, riesling, or superior burg on Thanksgiving.
