Merry Christmas, kids. Unless there’s a coup in Baghdad, or some other big news, don’t expect to read much new here this week.
But I will take a moment to mention that the other prospective buyers couldn’t get their contingency removed, so — barring some unforeseen and unlikely financing trouble — we’ll be in a new house in three or four weeks.
Cool.
Then let me be the first to say congratulations.
And to the other couple: Neener!
I’m going to hell for that latter remark.
Great! A word of advice (which you probably don’t need) — start packing the books now.

Books are easy. Just get some Vodka boxes from your local package store. Booze boxes are best for books. It was the crap I stashed in the basement for 15 years that got to me. But I don’t think Stephen is the type to let things pile up….
