Throw Parties, Not Fruit!

We’ll round up all the Jews, just as soon as we get our suits back from the dry cleaners.
Matt Drudge has the story on the latest bit of infantile behavior from an anti-globo “protestor.”

Irony must be a difficult concept for young, serious commies. They can publicly claim that NATO is the gestapo only because NATO is not the gestapo.
Heh. Yeah, if you’re gonna throw stuff, make sure you can actually hit people with it.
Virtually every day my respect for the genius of George Orwell grows beyond my ability to even express.
Orwell (to me at least) was the first to write definitively about the role of language in totalitarianism, and how the first step is to simply render words to have no meaning whatsoever. Having done so, some of the most fundamental and foundational elements of liberty, those of fact, reason, logic, and rationality, are ripe for dismemberment and replacement by whatever the totalitarians choose to replace them with.
“NATO is worse than the Gestapo”.
“Worse”…. well, technically correct I suppose. If you love totalitarian monsters, and a shocking number of free people on this planet choose to, well yes, I suppose, NATO IS worse than the Gestapo, as it opposes them while the Gestapo supports them.
Gestapo…. A specific secret police apparatus being compared to a treaty alliance of free nations. Ohhhh-K. But the words sound good strung together, so why not.
Let me try… NATO is also worse than the new James Bond movie!
In soviet russia, tomatoes throw you!
Someone should remind this seemingly endless supply of young protestors that under communism tomatoes were far too scarce and expensive to throw. Never ceases to amaze me how these protesting kids have it all figured out at 19. Dolts.

Whoops. My bad.
Just for grins, it would be interesting to know how many of the protesters know what “gestapo” is an acronym for (Gehime Staats Polizei) what it means (Secret State Police) and how that relates to what they’re putatively against.
