Happy Birthday
November 20th, 2002 - 12:00 am
If you’re wondering what I’ve been doing with my time the last few days, let me say that house hunting has been the least of it.
Today is my bride Melissa’s birthday, and here is tonight’s menu. (Recipes available on request.)

Yeah, I’ve been in a lot of grocery stores lately. And let’s not even talk about the kitchen.
Happy birthday, darling. You’re not just loved; I adore you.

Happy Birthday, Melissa! (and can I just say-yum!)
My Father died a year ago aged 83, his last words to me were ” ron, it’s all about love”.
Love to you both.
Ron from Australia.
Good grief, VP. What are you trying to do, feed the poor girl to death?
(Dibs on the leftovers!)
I am looking forward to getting the whole collection of recipes at some point. I hope that I am not being niggling, but I believe you intended “champagne”(France) instead of “Champaign”(Illinois). At any rate it sounds like a wonderful menu…
A very happy birthday from the Emperor, Melissa!
Stephen,
Happy birthday to your beautiful bride…
(respectful pause), recipes requested.
Bob in the hills
You’re a lucky guy to have such a wonderful girl.
Happy Birthday to your bride.
My husband’s birthday is next week. I hope he doesn’t read this post and get ideas!
Happy birthday, Melissa. I’m sure both of you will have a wonderful time.
All I can say, other than Happy Birthday, is that you two obviously don’t have kids, yet.
Happy birthday, Melissa! May you and Steve have many more to celebrate.
Happy birthday from a lurker who loves your recipes… could you post ‘em on Friday? You should have recovered from your cooking orgy by then.

You put me to shame with the birthday dinner menu.
My wife’s birthday is tomorrow … and I was planning on hotdogs at the Sonics’ game. Oops.
Happy birthday to the (real) Divine Miss M, and may you both thoroughly enjoy the day, the dinner, and each other.
Happy Natal Anniversary to the new bride!
Recipes, please?
The happiest of birthdays from the old man’s former home town!
Happy Birthday Melissa!
But Steve, an important question: What drops did you serve with this feast? I imagine some heavy-hitting Cali Reds got popped, am I right?
MMMmmmm, Carpaccio, damn all the good ones are taken
Happy Birthday Melissa – here’s to another wonderful year.
Stephen – How long do we have to wait until you open up the VodkaPundit Culinary Arts Institute?
I gained 10 pounds just by reading the menu.
Damn!!
But yes, I’d love the recipes
