   After reading Mr. Kurtz’s observations, I was struck by how cavalier we’ve become about nuclear warfare. Those “rookie” zealots probably aren’t concerned about the 20,000 year half life of strontium 90 and it’s less forgiving isotopic brethren. Modern weapons in the hands of atavistic, theocratic psychotics. This bodes ill for all parties…everywhere.
