OxBlog’s Josh Chafetz continues his look into the Immutable Laws of Dowd — and I’m not just plugging it because I wrote Law #4.
Josh, might I also suggest Law #5? “It is usually possible and always desirable to name-drop and name-call in the same sentence.”
Elsewhere in Blogland, Dawn Olsen continues her frisky interview sessions with bloggers across the land. This time, Matt Moore of the Blog of the Century of the Week fame denies he’s gay.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Well, technically, I denied that Rick was gay. And he’s not.
I, on the other had, am of no determinable sexuality at all right now.
Hey, Steve’s right. I mean, some of my best friends have denied that they are gay.
Stephen, Be nice – you are next cutie!
Hey, Rob — what ever happened to Little Gay Mike? He still in the Navy?
Note to People Who Aren’t Rob: We only called him Little Gay Mike to distinguish between Fat Disgusting Mike. And he really did join the Navy.
Steve: I’m not sure. Wish I knew. Last I heard he was well (and still in the Navy), but that was years ago. Before my ex-step-mother started her (still continuing) 5-year crystal meth binge.
Note to people who aren’t Steve: Although Mike experimented with heterosexuality (well, he just *had* to. He’s cute as a button and has an enormous, er, uhm, personality), he has never denied that he was gay (not to my knowledge, anyway).
Don’t ask, don’t tell; ok?
What’s this about gay guys getting all the really big penises?
There’s a pun there, I’m just not sure whether or not it was intended.
Anyway, that could possibly serve as proof that if there is a god, he’s a woman-hating queen.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I always thought that God was a very shy man who wears a pink bow tie and punishes us unless we ignore him completely.
