After a Quick Statement on Iraq and Ferguson, It's Back to Golf for Obama

Within minutes of the end of his brief statement on Iraq and the riots in Ferguson, MO, President Obama was back on the links.

In his brief statement, the president downplayed the ongoing crisis in Iraq, only allowing that the US will conduct future airstrikes there to protect American personnel, not roll back Islamic State forces.

On Ferguson, Obama called for calm and for the local police to be “transparent.” Coming from anyone else such a call might carry some weight, but Obama’s record on transparency is terrible.
