Fox reports on the latest from Government Motors.

General Motors issued six more recalls on Wednesday, bringing its annual total to 60 recalls covering almost 30 million vehicles.

The latest recalls cover nearly 823,000 cars, trucks and SUVs mostly in North America but including a small number of exports. The largest is for faulty seats in just over 475,000 cars and small SUVs. Other problems include incomplete welds on seat brackets, turn signal failures, power steering failures, loose suspension bolts and faulty roof rack bolts.

GM is conducting a companywide safety review as it tries to correct a dysfunctional corporate culture in which safety was a low priority.

So was quality.

GM has recalled 30 million of the 41.6 million cars recalled by all automakers this year so far. It sold 1.46 million cars in the first six months of 2014.

Maybe they can hire Arnold Schwarzwnegger for public-service notification ads: "Hello, I'm Arnold Schwarzenegger. I was in a film called Total Recall, and today I'd like to talk to you about another total recall…"

Keep in mind that the sales figures come from the same management installed by the government that lied to bail out the unions, lied about the profit/loss involved in the bailout, lied and concealed data when they sold the stock in such a way that would be indictable if they were not above the law, and who are "channel stuffing" an unprecedented number of cars that cannot be sold on dealers' lots.

Not to mention the deliberate falsification of pretty much every economic metric for the last 6 years.

If you believe their sales figures ...... well; if you like your healthcare, you can keep your healthcare ... and it will cost you less.

I keep reading that the recalls have not harmed sales. Who in their right mind would by a GM vehicle at this point?

This business model can not continue...but don't worry, Obama will bail out the unions.

Who would buy a GM vehicle? 1. The uninformed. 2. The 'I always buy chevy' crowd. 3. The government.

My previous vehicle was a GMC Yukon Denali and the one before that was a Chevy Tahoe.

When it came time to get another vehicle after the GM bailout I bought a.....
Toyota Tundra.

There was no way in hell I was staying with GM.

Sounds like I made a very good decision.
