The White House is sending Secretary of State John Kerry to speak at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee megaconference in Washington beginning Sunday.

Also sent will be Treasury Secretary Jack Lew. Together the two are expected to explain the Iran deal and the sanctions relief that has peaked the ire and concern of so many.

Kerry is also expected to talk about his attempt to forge a Mideast peace deal.

He drew criticism in recent weeks for his comments about the price Israel would pay if it didn’t acquiesce to the U.S. peace process. “You see, for Israel there’s an increasing delegitimization campaign that has been building up,” Kerry said. “People are very sensitive to it. There are talk of boycotts and other kinds of things. Are we all going to be better with all of that?”

The chief Palestinian negotiator told Al-Jazeera last week that things will get “ugly” if a Mideast peace deal isn’t reached by April and warned that the Palestinian Authority — which already controls only half of the two Palestinian territories — could crumble. “Number one…I cannot accept Israel as a Jewish state,” Saeb Erakat said. “Number two: I cannot accept any document without East Jerusalem being the capital of Palestine.”

Last year, Vice President Joe Biden was sent by the White House to talk to the conference. President Obama spoke the year he was seeking re-election.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is coming to D.C. to address the conference and to meet with Obama on March 3.

Then there is no point in holding any negotiations. Do not waste any time or energy chasing unicorns.

The mediocre is the message.

Mutt and Jeff of the Alinsky Slide.

I will agree with an East Jerusalem, the moment that Obama and this cabal agree to an East Washington D. C., and I cannot agree to an America that is half free market, half small c communist.

Let's bifurcate the country. Cut up California into 6 separate states. Let's make the Philippines a state and protect them from China.

As soon as we do all of those things...then Abbott Lew and Kerry Costello can take their act on the road. Not a moment before.

I think it's a great message. The US sends a man, John Kerry (*), who committed treason against his own country, and was rewarded by becoming Secretary of State. The lesson for us in Israel is obvious. Endanger the lives of your citizens and get goodies.

(*) As spelled in Hebrew, it means "nocturnal emission".

He has to forge it cuz there ain't no real one to be had.

Probably award Israel three purple hearts and tell them it's all over.

Any bets that Kerry's peace plans won't start a war?

Looks like the ME is going to heat up one more time if thats the stance taken by the Palestinians. If I were Israel I'd just tell them to go f#%k yourself.

Then ready the tanks and see what they got.

Sending Kerry anywhere is calling for disaster. This guy just hasn't learned what a loser he is since his Vietnam days. He's got the gall to threaten other countries with ultimatums??? Just charge him with treason and maybe then he'll shut up for good.

Ah, the natives are restless and the lights are going out in darkest Africa and so Kerry just gave Uganda an ultimatum: revoke the anti gay law or else. Time for Western social science, the product of white guys and gals, to set things right and save the gay-for-a-day agenda: Uganda, you will allow advanced tea bagging training by the Peace Corp or else. You will import and broadcast the updated Saturday Night Live game show Queen For a Day, or no more HIV drugs.

But they get to spend our money do it... ...and Kerry probably hasn't connected all the dots yet. Meanwhile, Obama, who I'm told is very smart, won't know anything until he sees it in the papers after the fact.
