Dewhurst has been lieutenant governor during Texas’ rise to dominate job creation in the US economy. He is currently seeking a fourth term as lt. gov., facing three opponents in the Texas GOP primary next March.

TIME magazine says “Texas is our future” in its latest issue due to the state’s gaudy economic numbers. That will only be true if Democrats and their “progressive” agenda remain on the losing side here.
