Kruiser covered Alec Baldwin’s epic homophobic and violent Twitter meltdown as it unfolded last night. Baldwin reacted badly to a news story about his wife, threatening to hunt down and do violence to the author of the piece, whom Baldwin called a “toxic little queen.”

Well, Friday dawns but it will progress without Alec Baldwin on Twitter. He has shut his feed.

Baldwin is currently the corporate ad man for Capital One credit cards, and is considering a run for mayor of New York. If he runs, it’s a toss-up whether his Twitter meltdown or Anthony Weiner’s amorous tweet escapades would be most the most embarrassing of the candidates in the race.

Well, Baldwin's "Toxic little Queen" tweet has screwed his chances of being elected mayor of San Francisco, so that leaves New York and Los Angeles as the only major cities with enough stupid voters to elect him to any position other than dog catcher.

past performance as the example, I'd say his rant would guarantee the voters of NY will pull the 'yes' lever

Oh, New York just *deserves* Baldwin as mayor. Fickle, arrogant, foul-mouthed, narcissistic, and preens like a Peacock.
