When UN Ambassador Susan Rice took her name out of the running for secretary of State as controversy swirled over her Benghazi involvement, it was a given that President Obama would later reward his friend for her compliance with a new gig that doesn’t require Senate confirmation.

Today the longtime rumors were confirmed as Obama today plans to announce that his national security adviser, Tom Donilon, is stepping down and Rice will fill his role.

Moving into Rice’s role at the world body with a sad track record of preventing atrocities will be the first leader of Obama’s Atrocities Prevention Board created in 2012, Samantha Power.

Power called Hillary Clinton a “monster” during the 2008 campaign and had to step down from Obama’s team then, only to rejoin his transition team after his victory.

When she left her role as a special assistant on the National Security Council this February, the White House said it was so Power could spend more time with her two small kids. She is married to Obama’s former regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein; they met working on Obama’s first presidential campaign.

Because of deadly terrorist attacks in Boston, Benghazi, Ft. Hood, Little Rock, and the near catastrophes of Times Square and Christmas Day 2009, I pray it wasn't an ominous sign that Obama announced Susan Rice's appointment as his new National Security Advisor on June 5, 2013: the 45th anniversary of Bobby Kennedy's assassination by a Palestinian gunman-the first act of political terrorism on US soil stemming from the Arab-Israeli conflict in the Middle East. The portentousness of this date plus the fact that Rice was a political stooge for Obama's Benghazi cover up, incompetence and possible crimes shouldn't make anyone sleep easier at night.

Never mind National Security Advisor.

Two words matter now -- Samantha Powers.

Never mind what she called Hillary. I can't think of anyone worse for the U.N. She's radical in the worst way -- a really wild, irresponsible way. She's as critical of the U.S. as a leftist can be -- really out there.

She hates Israel. Please look her up. At one point not too long ago, she suggested sending in U.S. troops to fight Israel -- or something very, very similar. Of course, she spins it -- but she said it -- it's on a video somewhere.

It was she who was the force that got us into helping Al Queda in Libya. It was her idea.
"Responsibility to Protect" -- a sure set-up for the next Intifada/War -- with our being against -- guess who?

The O's circling the wagons -- There would have been a major impediment to his re-election had he placed her in position to deal with Israel prior to it. No doubt he had her in mind for this job as soon as he completed "his last election" -- so he'd have "more flexibility."

There really needs to be a major blog campaign to get those dummy Senators of ours to not approve her.

If they "consent" -- there'll be hell on earth -- for us and Israel.
(Which, of course, with what we've got and are facing -- there may very well be anyway.)

Dear Voters:

This is the affimative-actioned, equal opportunitied, multicultural, twice elected burlesque of an "administration" you wanted; now let us hear no more of "it's all George Bush's fault", dear voters, have a whopping big governmental disaster to answer for.

There's no evasion, no place to hide.

The rest of the thinking, concerned voters out here will simply have to live with this - again- burlesque of an "administration" which is a literal tragedy throwing away the greatness which made our America the envy of just about everyone except our Muslim enemy.

You have no one to blame for the coming debacles except yourselves, and even your claque-media will not be able to disguise or dismiss all of this.

Remember when Bush did something similar and everyone said he was putting putting loyalty over competence? Now... crickets.
