No guns, no education: More proof of racism on the left.

The Chicago Public Schools’ plan to close 53 schools and 61 buildings, mostly in black neighborhoods, has some West Side residents vowing to fight the Emanuel administration until the end.

Claimed one protestor: “I don’t see any Caucasians being moved, bussed, or murdered in the streets as they travel along gang lines, or stand on the steps of a CPS school.”

A student protestor said: “We will have more gangs, more murders, more killers, and everything.”

Bingo! From the mouths of babes…

I’ve been correlating violent crime with state ratings by the Brady Campaign since 2001, the first year they began publishing report cards. Brady gives their “best” scores to states with the most gun-control laws. Right-to-carry (RTC) states—with liberal laws empowering citizens to carry concealed handguns in public—perennially get lower scores, because Brady considers RTC laws unsafe. For example, in 2011, RTC states averaged a Brady score of 8.2 on a scale of 100; non-RTC states averaged 55.5.

But the following two graphs show that Brady’s “best” states are the most dangerous. In 2011, RTC states averaged a violent crime rate of 343.3, compared to non-RTC states’ 476.6. RTC states’ average murder rate was 4.3; non-RTC states averaged 5.3.

Getting back to today’s story, Rahm Emanuel is real big on gun control. As Chicago mayor, Emanuel’s been promoting stronger national gun-control laws. He’s even urged banks to stop doing business with gun manufacturers. Emanuel’s top cop, Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy, accused Second Amendment supporters of being “guilty of corruption and of endangering public safety” for their political activism. McCarthy also believes our allegedly lax federal gun laws are racist. This is a curious allegation, considering the historical truth rebuts McCarthy.

I'm not sure what Mr. Nemerov is trying to claim here. The schools to be closed are in neighborhoods where the student population has declined substantially. Many are less than half full. The remaining students in those schools will be transferred to other schools, so no one is being denied an education. (To the extent that the Chicago Public Schools educate anyone, outside of the handful of elite magnet schools.)

That liberal policies in general and the rule of Mayor Emanuel in particular are bad for blacks is obvious - but how is the school closing an example of this?

Chicago is closing the gap on its sister cities like Detroit and Birmingham. The more black population the more crime and chaos and the lack of the city to finance itself and their school districts. When you have to move hundreds of millions of dollars in resources from capitall building activities to police activities to corral the black undertow, misery and poverty for all cannot be far behind.

Black people I know always lament about how there are so many blacks in jail. I wonder if they have ever noticed the more they elect Democrats the worse off blacks are. It seems blacks have been on a downward trend ever since they started giving their votes to Democrats in the 60s.

Nice graphs. It is clear that Emanuel wouldn't close these schools if people had more guns, or something. There seems to be a mismatch between the headline and the article here.

No matter what anyone says, they keep voting Democrat in these places! I live in White Plains, NY, until the 80s a GOP stronghold. Then after 911, the know it alls from Manhattan decided to go north. Now this is a Democrat stronghold. I have friends who are college professors who have run as Republicans, and never even mentioned foreign policy or abortion, just running on tax and spend local issues. And they've all been defeated, about 60/40 by the dems. So we can observe and comment all we want. Unfortunately, what we NEED to do in all these areas is infiltrate this corrupt party and register as democrats, take some form of anti-emetic drug, and steer these sludge barges ourselves.

That is exactly why disaster in California would be so terrible for the country. Millions of liberals migrating to the rest of the country and taking over as you describe would be ruinous. As it is they are infiltrating well-managed Republican cities and wrecking them with their tax and spend and no-morality ways.

That is what happened to my old home state of Colorado. It used to be reliably center right. The big influx of California liberals began in the 80's, and by the time I left for Idaho (just before the turn of the century) Colorado had been pretty much completely Californicated. One look at the recent headlines illustrates that the problem has only gotten worse. Poor Colorado. It used to be a nice place to live. Now the California refugees are arriving here in Idaho in record numbers, fleeing the cesspool they created in CA and (surprise!), attempting to create the same cesspool here. Fortunately the harsh climate sends many of them scurrying and the meat-eating, gun-toting, God fearing majority of the population frightens even more of them off. Bye now. Don't hurry back!

Retiring Californians are moving into my area at an alarming rate. I've met a few of them at my country club. Talk about liberal! They stand out like a sore thumb with their liberal 'know-it-all' attitude. I wish they'd have gone somewhere else. Thank God there aren't enough of them to sway the center-right mindset of the locals - yet.

Well, I don't see Caucasians operating mainstream self-identified "white culture" websites with mainstream car and hotel chain ads with articles where the bad guy is invariably a black person. It would certainly be a jump to first show such a thing and then imagine the editor as a friend of the President, as is Henry Gates at The Root, or as I call it, Stormfront-lite.

I don't see Caucasian music as a class at all, let alone one which is Top 40 and which celebrates racial bigotry, cop killing, rape, murder, drug dealing and other sociopathic behaviors.

I don't see Miss White America beauty pageants or white music awards where the main element to receive such an award is a S. Africa apartheid-era consideration of parentage.
