The Obama White House has been caught in a huge blunder. A report from the WH claims that the sequester will slice $2 million out of the National Drug Intelligence Center’s $20 million budget.

Problem: The NDIC closed in June 2012.

So. When DHS Secretary Napolitano claims that sequestration will make us more vulnerable to terrorism (but the porous border has never been safer!), don’t believe a word of it. It’s all political posturing and fearmongering.

I wonder why an agency that no longer exists still has $20 million in funding.

That sequestration is mighty powerful, able to go back in time and shut down a government agency.
