Betsy McCaughey has an absolutely scathing column on ObamaCare’s many failures and shortcomings, many of which you probably already know. But she saves the real kicker for the end:
All in all, at least 40 million people could be uninsured in 2016, only 9 million fewer than before the law was passed.
A trillion dollars over ten years, usurping the doctor’s role in determining care, jacking up insurance rates to ruinous levels, bankrupting the 57 states, rationing, death panels, and all the rest — in order to solve the 30 billion dollar problem of 49 million uninsured. And of those, 40 million still might not get covered?
It all makes sense when you remember that ObamaCare was never about providing coverage. It was about assuming control.
And, man, did they ever.

Obamacare was indeed about nothing other than control and plundering the health care sector for more welfare money. Along the way plenty of connected Democrats will be lining their pockets thanks to craftily worded language in the law which steers contracts to them and them alone.
So, making people broke as they try to afford the huge premiums, millions more losing employer health coverage, and vast government databases the Obamacare bureaucrats can access to determine how much money you have and your political affiliation when deciding if you get care. How could that not be good for the country?
well, maybe not ALL about assuming control
It’s also a jobs program for deadbeats. Remember “Loans for Deadbeats”. This one will be “Deadbeats for Doctors”. Pretty soon, one of them may be your “doctor”. California, a usual, is leading the pack.
Obama cares less about your heath than he does about his power.
Congress can vote to defund ObamaCare.
