Maybe the better question would be is the entire Islamic Middle East mentally ill? But never mind. From the JPost:
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Saturday slammed both Israel for reported strikes in Syria earlier in the week, as well as Syria for its failure to respond to the attacks, Turkish daily The Hurriyet reported.
“Why didn’t [Syrian President Bashar] Assad even throw a pebble when Israeli jets were flying over his palace and playing with the dignity of his country?” The Hurriyet quoted Davutoglu as saying.
He further suggested that Assad’s inaction was due to “a secret agreement” with Israel and vowed that Turkey would not sit still in the face of an Israel attack on any Muslim country.
BTW, I am not going to reveal any of my own “secret agreements” – but I may have them. (doo-doo-doo-doo….)

The reaction is so pro Arab League- how dare IAF attack Syria flying undetected under radar and do away Assad’s SA-17s and Military Research Complex (with allegedly Iranian IRGC there as victims) when they (Turkey.Qatar et al)have tried for over 20 mos to bait Assad’s Air Force to fire missiles over the border? Not only FM but more so the PM are reincarnating themselves as Suleimans (Suleiman I and II). They are also always talking of casus belli if Syria disturbs the mausoleum of Suleiman situated in Syria.
Mentally ill in our way of thinking? Jes. But for a true beliver there is only one way of thinking, the Koranic way. It’s an other universe whith it’s own inner logic.
The more you learn to understand it, the more you dispise it.
Why didn’t Syria fire on the IAF?
Because they could not see them. Just like the last time. How did they do that?
That is driving the Turks nuts. Remember that the Syrians shot down one of the Turkish F-4s thinking it was Israeli or something. Maybe they think the Israelis did some tinkering with Syrian radar or something to cause that assault on “dignity”. So Israel once again regains some reputation as the super spooks who walk through walls. Indeed they do.
Take note Iran. Your space monkeys are not going to save you.
Turkey is basing and funding the Islamist fighters against Assad. To be blown up by mere Jews is a breach of dignity. I do not understand this dignity thing but it is a weakness.
Turks sound kind of stupid calling for Patriot batteries to protect them from Syrians at this point. Turkey will “not sit still” while Israel attacks an arab country at the same time Turkey is. Maybe they can make another request for NATO to intervene.
I recommend a hearty red whine with my turkey, I have a nice bottle of Israeli Mt. hermon Yarden from the Golan Heights waiting for later. You can see Syria from those vineyards.
Davutoglu is aware the Assads have openly given sanctuary to the Kurdish PKK both for political events and having PKK fighters. Meanwhile Davutoglu’s country arrests Kurds for speaking Kurdish.
Russia, not a friend to Turkey, calls many shots in Syria and no doubt any tech eyes they have are watching Turkish airspace and not Israeli.
Davutoglu’s probably angry Syria got a Turkish jet and managed to not get an Israeli. Figuring out how a CIA-connected Ballard-owned ship “found” the dead Turkish pilots is also no doubt fraying at him.
Meanwhile I have a secret agreement with grass stains on an old softball to give Constantinople back to the Greeks in exchange for some earthquake-proof shiny beads.
History repeats itself. During the First World War the early Zionists proposed to the Porte that they would raise troops to fight the British in exchange for the establishment of a Jewish homeland under Ottoman authority. The Sultan turned them down so they turned to the British. The rest is history as they say. Now 95 years later the Jews implicitly tell the Turks that they will fight against the enemy of the would-be Sultan and all they get is threats. The more things change the morethey stay the same.
