This is yet another response to the Gayle Trotter testimony given on Capitol Hill this week. As is always the case when liberal men write or talk about conservative women, he’s a dismissive, condescending jerk. He also thinks he’s clever with statistics:

Of course, air travel is statistically the safest way of getting around but that doesn’t change the fact that the dead people in an airline disaster are still dead and aren’t comforted much by the fact that they’re at the statistical low end of things.

Ultimately, what’s most important is the fact that everyone of those statistical anomalies who had their lives saved by a gun is quite happy that they had prepared for that “lightning strike”.

Yes well it’s important to keep in mind that rarely are shots ever even fired when firearms are used in self defense.. In less than .09% of cases does it ever even come to that. Studies show guns are successfully used to stop crimes approximately 2.5 million times per year & usually it only involves showing the gun.
I really can’t stand how deceptive liberals are with every argument they make. They skew everything & never give the whole story to sell their concepts. With true facts brought to battle the left has no hope of winning.

Has it not occurred to him that the reason home invasions are relatively rare in the US is precisely because so many households are armed? Maybe he should do a comparison on the number of home invasions between America and Britain.
Porn destroys so much, and the crudity on TV and movies would be so much better if we could regulate it to be PBS in quality, by fiat. How many actually use the First Anendment for expressly political speech? Couldn’t we do some trimming here?
