Appearing on the Andrea Tantaros Show with Jason Mattera Friday, Dr. Alveda King pulled no punches when discussing President Barack Obama and the opening of his second term. Obama took the oath of office on two Bibles, one that belonged to President Abraham Lincoln and one that belonged to her late uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. Alveda King appeared on the Tantaros show from the 2013 March for Life, a massive protest in Washington, D.C., marking the anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision. She criticized Obama for failing to fulfill her uncle’s legacy by moving America “away from God.”
“How do you think Obama has done legacy-wise?” Tantaros asked.
“You can’t compare a preacher and a politician,” King said. “Martin Luther King Jr., you have to remember, was not a politician. He was a prophet. So usually the prophets are the ones who speak to the kings or the presidents or the politicians.”
“I have written open letters to the president,” King said. “I’ve been to the White House and told him that I love him, that I’m praying for him. So he falls short. He does not have a prophetic message.”
“But Dr. King, he has been compared by media outlets like Newsweek as a savior…as a prophet for liberal ideas,” Tantaros said.
King noted that her uncle opposed abortion and same-sex marriage, unlike Obama, who favors both. “No, the standards of the current administration do not measure up to the standards by which Dr. Martin Luther King tried to live.”
“It seems President Obama seems to be going against the teachings of the Bible,” said Tantaros. “On Monday he stood in front of the country and he had his hand on your uncle’s Bible….How did that make you feel?”
“Well it was interesting because, you know, he also stumbled on the oath, and I’d like to feel that something was stirring in that Bible, that choked him for a second, and made him think.”
King continued: “We’re praying for him, that he’ll hear the voice of God.” She compared Obama to Biblical kings who served false gods.
King also took Obama’s former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, to task. “I’m very disturbed about the churches that only preach the social gospel without including Jesus’ message. And that’s the message that my uncle would still be preaching today. He preached it while he was alive. That’s agape love, God’s love for our neighbors, ourselves, and obedience to God,” she said. “Jeremiah Wright was preaching a different gospel and it came close to a false gospel.” King said that she believes Obama’s decades as Wright’s student deeply impacted him.
“A lot of Christians believe that [Obama] is actively trying to take God out of the military,” Tantaros said. “He’s evolving in different positions. He was against gay marriage, now he’s evolving towards it. A lot of pro-life advocates are worried that if he appoints more liberal justices he could take more action through the courts on abortion. Do you see the president moving away from God?”
“He’s been moving away and I think it’s, I know, it’s my job to pray for him that he’ll come back. And not in a judgmental or an angry way.” She compared her hope that Obama comes back to faith to the parable of the prodigal son returning home.

According to Noam Chomsky (yes, THAT guy), he was told that a group of black women (was Ms. King one of them, I wonder?) visited Obama in 2009 and came away thinking that “Obama had no moral center.” This is what they told Chomsky’s informant. Chomsky has his own reasons for bringing this up, but this is both reavealing and disturbing — but not surprising. Obama had answered questions in published interviews about morality and right and wrong with vague and post-modernish language.
But, to use that now infamous phrase, “what does it matter?” The black community’s views of Obama are complex, and many are disturbed about a number of issues surrounding the President, yet voted for him anyway.
Folks: fairly or not, the Republican brand has been demonized and so badly damaged that too many Americans do not see what they consider a “viable alternative” to someone like Obama. THAT should scare you.

Michael Luther King Jr was a false preacher and a false prophet according to the Holy Spirit in a King James Bible of 1611. In Jer 23 (the whole chapter is on false prophets and false preachers and how God hates them).
Jer 23: “I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Yes, King was involved in very shady deals along with affiliation with Communist party members. He also was a very womanizer type of person. That being said, He was nothing like Barack H. Obama, I mean Obama is so far worse than Martin Luther King even though of being I can’t describe it. At least King stood for a proper and good principle concerning the rights and citizenship privilages that all Americans should have but specifically those being persecuted and harmed – the black community at large. Obama cares NOTHING about the black community and wishes to keepthe majority down on the plantation of welfare Governmental supplies rather than building themup, getting them educated and having a job, and helping to stop the murder of innocent little babies in the ladies lives among the blacks! Dr. MLK – Prophesying the future of the U.S.A. and maybe; just maybe … the first black POTUS is an answer to MLK’s prayer. I believe it is.

The honor involved in using Lincoln’s bible and MLK’s bible together needs no explanation. This inauguration was a turning point; WE ARE ALL AMERICANS. Yes, Obama needs our prayers because there are so many forces coming against him that would whisper into his ears. Politics can divide people; make people hate and generally make people feel hopeless sometimes … let’s get past that and also recognize that politicians do NOT have the answers – God does.
I’ve never heard or seen any evidence that Obama was ever a Christian. Perhaps he’s pretended to be one in the past for political purposes, but pretense does not a Christian make.

Except an Angel (Archangel Gabriel, apparently) visited Mohammad and effectly told him to form Islam. Ideologies do not usually allow for an afterlife, nor do they talk or focus on supernatural elements, treating them as non-existent. It’s closer to a religion than to an ideology.
I think Obama has done a spectacular job of fulfilling Martin Luther King’s legacy. MLK was nothing more than a communist tool who was liquidated by his handlers because he would have been more effective as a martyr than some whiny civil rights leader whose lifestyle would have eventually discredited him. The person who shot him was living in Russia for some time so you don’t need much help to connect the dots. Not only did King have communist affiliations, he slept with prostitutes, enjoyed pornography and plagiarized his speeches from other people. His FBI files have been sealed by court order to prevent some unsettling facts about him from reaching the light of day. Those files will be released in 2027 and that will put and end to the so-called MLK “legacy”.
First off, if Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Communist, he wouldn’t have even been a preacher or even a believer in God. The Communists don’t even believe in God. Heck, not only that, they actually, actively tried to systematically persecute and kill ANY believers in Christ, in Yahweh, or any of that. I know because I learned of this from two people who witnessed this persecution first hand in Communist countries: One was Father Adam, a Polish Catholic priest I personally knew, who actually FLED from Communist-occupied Poland to America with his brother in order to practice religion. The other was my Uncle, Bill Sweeney (And you can look him up on Wikipedia if you really want to, as he’s that guy), who at that time was on a foreign exchange trip to the Soviet Union under orders of the Carter administration. He asked to visit a church in the Soviet Union. A guide, who was later revealed to be a KGB agent, then decided to show him. He then discovered several churchgoers hiding in the shadows when he entered the building, and it was then that he realized just what the Christians had to live under in the USSR. Luckily, he managed to avert their mass-arrest/killing at the last moment by claiming it’s not the church he was looking for, but still. Heck, Karl Marx, the founder of Communism (or at least the guy who gave it its name) explicitly compared to religion as being an “opiate of the masses” and called for its extermination.
I don’t think anyone who sleeps with hookers and steals other people’s writings has a particularly strong faith in Christianity. It is a matter of historical fact that MLK had ties with the American Communist Party which prompted the FBI to record surveillance tapes on him. Those tapes were sealed by court order in 1977.
Then why didn’t he just go for Atheism? Why didn’t he just refuse to follow his father’s legacy as a preacher and instead burn down the church with a lot of practitioners in it? Had I converted to Atheism and gone for Communism, and I had a similar background to Martin Luther King, Jr., that’s EXACTLY what I would have done. I know how Communists work regarding religion. Just look at how Christians were treated in the USSR, in Communist Romania, in North Vietnam (heck, there’s a reason why one of the slogans for the Vietnam War was “The Virgin Mary has gone South.”), or any of those countries. A lot of Christians were exterminated, persecuted, put into work camps. Heck, Bill Ayers (a confirmed Communist), espoused similar views as an FBI infiltrator of his group confirmed. Had he truly been a communist, he would have repeated those steps, and even claim no faith in religion.
Of course MLK Jr was not a conservative . He denounced Barry Goldwater and Capitalism, he spoke in favor of a Guaranteed Income! I do not know how any one can say, with a straight face, that King would be Republican. All I can figure is that they’re so desperate for the great Black hope that they ignore truth. If MLK Jr had lived, he would have been side by side with Jesse Jackson.
We don’t live in Russia and you can’t burn down a church full of parishioners and get away with it, at least not yet. There are plenty of communists in the movie industry and they don’t go around shouting they’re communists. They’re very subtle at their craft. They play roles in films where they attempt to indoctrinate the masses. Roles which denigrate Christianity, espouse a different belief system which they consider to be superior, engage in historical revisionism or create bizarre unrealistic situations to promote an agenda. You see this a lot in film making today. I am guessing they needed someone respectable to win over the black community and Martin Luther King’s so-called Christian faith provided a cover. Blacks have long been prized by the communists as a useful weapon in overthrowing the establishment. They have low rates of entrepreneurship and are generally unable to compete in a capitalist economy without support from the government. Most of the black poor, working, middle, upper middle and wealthy classes rely on government support in one way or another.
The Viet Cong/Ho Chi Minh also didn’t live in Russia either, yet they still practiced exactly the same sort of thing. Heck, Castro and Che Guevara never lived in Russia, either, they still managed to implement Communism the exact same way. Bill Ayers and his ilk weren’t born in Russia either, and yet they still managed to attempt to implement Communism the exact same way. Heck, Poland and Romania weren’t even Russian, yet they still implemented Communism the exact same way. And then there’s that Nelson guy from South Africa, who definitely was Communist, not even Russian in origin, yet successfully managed to implement Communism in his country. Being born in Russia isn’t enough, and I wasn’t trying to imply that we did live in Russia. What matters is that they have a method of doing this. The communists are more likely to try and KILL MLK just for being religious than trying to use him. I know if I were a communist, I would have actively tried to kill MLK just for his his belonging to the Christian faith, regardless of so-called benefits of using him. Communism states that ALL religions have to be exterminated. That’s why I doubt they’d use MLK.
Correction to my last post, Bill Ayers attempted to implement Communism the exact same way. He didn’t exactly succeed, though given his becoming a teacher and not giving up on Marxism, I doubt he totally failed, either.
What you think is pretty irrelevant considering King’s affiliations with known communists. U. S. Attorney General Bobby Kennedy had King’s office and hotel rooms bugged. Evidence proved that King was under the direct orders of Soviet spies and financed by the Communist Party. The Kennedy tapings continued for 5 years and also developed shocking revelations regarding King’s perverted sexual practices. Bayard Rustin was a former black organizer for the Young Communist League. He spent 60 days in a California jail on a 1953 conviction for performing lewd homosexual acts in public. He also served 28 months in prison for draft evasion. He was King’s secretary and advisor from 1956 to 1960. During this period Rustin attended the National Convention of the Communist Party in 1957 as an honored observer. King called him a “a brilliant, efficient, and dedicated organizer.” It was Rustin who introduced King to a Soviet spy named Stanley D. Levison. Levison’s job was to launder the $1 million subsidy Soviet Russia gave to finance the US Communist Party. Levison proved important financial, organizational and public relations services for King. Another of King’s associates were Carl and Ann Branden. They were lifelong Communist Party activists out of Louisville, Kentucky. Carl Branden was convicted of criminal sedition in 1954. He and his wife purchased a home for blacks in a white neighborhood to incite racial violence. Later they were charged with bombing the same house to win sympathy for their cause and to raise money. Ann Braden today is a founder of the Atlanta based “Center for Democratic Renewal” which smears Conservative patriots. These are just a few examples of the people who surrounded MLK. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck………….
I’m not simply going by what I think. It has repeatedly been shown throughout history that the way Communists or Atheists come to power are via violent overthrow and via intense persecution of religious people. North Vietnam, North Korea, USSR, the Eastern Bloc, Cuba, China, Cambodia, Laos, South Africa, Zimbabwe. Heck, France post-French Revolution qualifies as well. He would have attempted to commit mass murder and mass persecutions against Christians and attempted to preach violent overthrow against the US Government to issue a Socialist/Communist revolution if he were Communist.
I suppose his associations were just coincidence? Right?
He also may not have even known about them being Communists. Don’t forget, Communists can lie to people to manipulate them.
What is certain is that he himself most likely isn’t Communist. If he were, he obviously would not have become a baptist minister, he most likely would have turned to Atheism, he most likely would have formented and preached violent overthrow against the United States government, he most likely would have advocated Race Riots instead of denouncing them, and he most likely would have planned to exterminate all Christians and other Religious groups. That’s what they did in Russia, that’s what they did in France during the 1700s (Yes, I know France technically wasn’t Communist because Marx wasn’t even born yet, but still), that’s what happened in various African countries, that’s what happened in Cuba, that’s what happened in large portions of the Eastern Bloc, that’s what happened in China, that’s ultimately what happened in Vietnam, and is especially what happened in North Vietnam, that’s what happened in Cambodia, and that’s what Bill Ayers and his ilk in that Communist group the Weathermen’s Underground attempted to accomplish right here in America. Look up any and all Communist takeovers of various countries and tell me which ones DIDN’T involve a violent overthrow of the government nor resulted in the extermination of Christians AT ALL, not simply PR things? Heck, Marx himself stated in his manifesto that societies are supposed to undergo violent overthrow against the old order, issue in a new order, and persecute/exterminate all religious people.
King was under surveillance for several years until he died because of his connections to communist organizations ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. He accepted money from these organizations to fund his movement. In exchange, he had to appoint communists to certain positions in his Southern Christian Leadership Conference so they could project their communist ideas to a larger audience. The communists were manipulating the civil rights movement in directions that benefited them, such as by influencing King to be critical of the war against communism in Vietnam and the system of free enterprise capitalism in the U.S. To say he knew nothing about their political affiliations is stretching it quite a bit. Please, if your going to respond, don’t parrot the same old broken record of the past few posts.
