NY State Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin has posted a list of 15 items that New York’s Democrats in the state Senate wanted to include in the gun bill they rammed through last week. Is this the Democratic Party’s true gun agenda on display?
1. Confiscation of “assault weapons”
2. Confiscation o ten round clips
3. Statewide database for ALL Guns
4. Continue to allow pistol permit holder’s information to be replaced to the public
5. Label semiautomatic shotguns with more than 5 rounds or pistol grips as “assault weapons”
6. Limit the number of rounds in a magazine to 5 and confiscation and forfeiture of banned magazines
7. Limit possession to no more than two (2) magazines
8. Limit purchase of guns to one gun per person per month
9. Require re-licensing of all pistol permit owners
10. Require renewal of all pistol permits every five years
11. State issued pistol permits
12. Micro-stamping of all guns in New York State
13. Require licensing of all gun ammo dealers
14. Mandatory locking of guns at home
15. Fee for licensing, registering weapons

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Fine. However, if they do this, then the SWAT teams can be demilitarized as well. Since no one will have guns anymore, why would they need fully automatic assault rifles, sniper rifles, armored vehicles and all that? For that matter why would police need anything more than the old .38 revolvers and pump shotguns? This includes those who provide protection to the politicians as well.

“Assault-rifle owners statewide are organizing a mass boycott of Gov. Cuomo’s new law mandating they register their weapons, daring officials to “come and take it away,” The Post has learned.
Gun-range owners and gun-rights advocates are encouraging hundreds of thousands of owners to defy the law, saying it’d be the largest act of civil disobedience in state history.
“I’ve heard from hundreds of people that they’re prepared to defy the law, and that number will be magnified by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, when the registration deadline comes,’’ said Brian Olesen, president of the American Shooters Supply, one of the largest gun dealers in the state.”

Naturally, there is nothing to fear from those who say we should just get rid of concepts of the Electoral College and state representation in the Senate. I’ll keep that in kind as I look at both this, and the relative populations of New York and the West Coast, and the fact California may become plurality Hispanic this year.
I mean, when portions of the Bill of Rights are essentially advisory in nature only to those who wield the power of New York and the West Coast, what’s the worry?
Regarding California–some may fear-mongering based on race. It is not. It is awareness of a possible threat from those who we are told demand abeyance of rules for their blood kin, and who think society has not done right by not giving them enough of what other’s have.
Why worry?
“some may say fear-mongering based on race.”. Apologies.
How about the fact that in that law it says possesion of firearms is illegal. That’s possession for anybody period. Besides the fact that what is written is illegal and unconstitutional, those freedom hating lowlife dirtbag nazi’s didn’t even cover their own law enforcement officers. That’s right, cops will be felons by mearly possessing their issued duty weapons along with every other lawful gun owner in that state.
Keep a close eye on the Redcoats.
