To the unions, this is what democracy looks like.

This punch, by a union man against conservative Steven Crowder, followed explicit threats of violence spoken and Tweeted by prominent Michigan Democrats.

After the violence, or I should say after Big Labor initiated violence to try to intimidate the legislature and the governor out of passing the state’s right-to-work law, the Obama government refused to speak out against it.

When asked by a reporter about a claim by Michigan state Democrat that “there will be blood” should Republicans pass a union-choice law in Michigan, Carney professed ignorance and then downplayed the comment.

“I haven’t see those comments, and I’m not sure they mean what someone interprets them to mean,” he said.

This is where we are as we begin Barack Obama’s second term.
