In 2004, exit polls showed John Kerry walloping President George W. Bush. We all know how that turned out.
Drudge is fronting some exit polls that look bad for Romney. But remember: They are polls, not actual vote counts.
We won’t have real counts for a while yet. So if you’re in a line to vote for Romney, take Toto’s advice and hold the line.
Now is not the time to panic. If my Mortal Kombat meme ever had any relevance, it’s now.
Let’s get this done.
Update: Voters are just messing with exit pollsters.
Shocking when I clicked on Drudge and saw this. I have to take a deep breath, calm down, too early for panic.
God only knows what Drudge is up to (other than giving me a heart attack). First he had “Exit polls tight.” Then it was “Exit poll boom for O.” Now it’s “Exit polls tight” again, but flashing. And at one point he had Ohio in the “O” column but now it’s a toss-up. I need to make a poster:

I stopped for the exit pollster today. Poor fellow was getting the brush-off from everyone, I felt bad for him. He showed me the poll and mentioned “It’s for CNN and all the rest….” That right there would make most conservatives keep walking. I doubt very much I was randomly targeted (e.g. every tenth voter or whatever). He asked me because he thought I’d answer, and he was right. There’s no doubt these are heavily skewed toward Obama voters- honestly I look like one- educated upper middle class female.
The survey was also very long. Frankly, most R’s probably have better things to do.
Pennsylvania polls don’t close for an hour and a half. How can they give it to 0 if it’s close when tens of thousands have yet to vote?
Just over picking up a keg at the Tied House. CNN was on the TV, banner running “Obamma’s big day”. WTF? It’s the people big day. Dinosaurs.
If the exit polls relate to the real polls as they have before, Romney should be in fat city. OH, CO, FL, VA, IA, NC puts Romney over 270.

Romney is losing OH. Fla AND Co. Even 2 of those 3 will not do it for him.
Sorry, 4 more years of bronco Bama. What is important now is sending ‘Boner’ packing. We need a House Leader with fuzz on his nuts. Impeachment is the next step. Boner wouldn’t go there because the old guard thought it would cost them the White House. Well, guess what? Bronco was very beatable. The (R) have to figure out what went wrong and make changes. Although I suspect making changes first is necessary. The current brain trust at the GOP is about as smart as the post holding up my mailbox.
Another thing. Drudge is totally behind Romney. He does not like the old media. Is he setting the old media up for major embarrassment?
The Tarrance Group (dunno who that is- some polling group) calls it for Romney just now.
Quite a bet for them to make, whomever they are.
Romney will win. Exit polls are notorious for being wrong. VOTE VOTE VOTE!

When I voted here in strongly Republican Collin County Texas the other people in line were quiet and had this determined look like they were about to send a “your fired!” message. They were not about to get out of line because of some silly media poll. I expect a huge rejection of Obama in the popular vote. I pray that Romney gets a strong electoral college win tonight.
Strong turnout in my deep blue district tonight. I voted 5 minutes before the polls closed.

Massive fraud, especially in early voting, plus disenfranchisement of military voters? Let’s hope the Repubs play hardball and look into it if things go the way it looks right now.

It’s 10 PM CST. The west coast closes in another hour or two. Those are for sure Bronco Obama states. It looks like Mitt will lose ALL the must win states. Is that a trifacta?
America died tonight. When do the impeachment hearings start? Not taking the Senate was a big goof. If the Republican Party had the smarts of a sex starved gnat, they would have focused on taking the Senate. Anybody at the RNC that has an office with a window needs to get tossed out it.
