Once Jews go down the liberal path, we typically never find our way back. David Mamet, the brilliant writer, spent much of his life a plain vanilla Jewish liberal. But, as only a relatively few Americans Jews have, he was blessed with the intellectual fortitude to reexamine his views and draw the rational conclusions. Here, in A note to a stiff-necked people, Mr. Mamet asks the Jewish community to stop and contemplate some crucial questions before we go out and vote on Tuesday.

In light of his awakening, David Mamet is now one of my heroes. If only another group that always votes Democrat would have such an epiphany! It would do wonders to bridge the endless racial divide, if they allowed themselves to be free to think things through, and not feel compelled to vote with their “victim” group.
