Now, Obama supporters within the administration are telling the AP, on condition of anonymity, that there were no delays or denials of help during the battle:
U.S. intelligence officials are offering a new timeline detailing the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, saying CIA security officers went to the aid of State Department staff less than 25 minutes after they got the first call for help.
They say the team tried to get heavy weapons and other assistance from the Libyans, but when none was available left anyway. They say that at no point was the team told to delay or stand down.
The timeline was offered to rebut news reports that U.S. officials told rescuers to wait.
The president is going to have to come forward and tell what he knows.

This whole story is so infuriating already, and we know that Obama personally left those people in danger, purposefully scuttled the mission personally, and we know that he’s lied and obfuscated repeatedly.
Obama was more personally responsible for these deaths than he was for the death of Osama bin Laden.
But for that miserable punk to go out on the campaign trail today in Wisconsin sporting his leather bomber jacket emblazoned with “Commander-In-Chief” is beyond despicable. Now he’s taunting us.

At this point if Obama “comes forward with what he knows” he’ll just tell as many lies as he thinks he can get away with without them being uncovered by election day. If he loses he’ll just slink away anyway, and if he wins it’ll be: “hahaha you suckers fell for that? I won! Four more years of change b*tches, and this time Ive got flexibility!” Seriously, if he wins watch for the real monster to come out after election day, given the contempt with which he’s treated people during the years he was up for re-election, I shudder to think about it.
