How about some context? You post a video which shows people speaking a language unfamiliar to most Americans and supply no translation or subtitles, let alone any text describing when this video was taken or who the various figures in it are. There is literally just a headline, a video, and a warning that the video is “graphic”, presumably because there are dead people in it.
All I could make out was that the people in the video were saying “Allahu Akhbar” and that the bodies contained what appeared to be Iranian currency since I recognized Ayatollah Khomeini’s face on the banknotes. There was nothing to say that this footage was shot in Syria or that it was recent or even that the dead men were Iranians, just that they had Iranian banknotes. For all we know, the dead men could have been citizens of some other country, perhaps mercenaries or even just people who had recently visited Iran on leave and still had Iranian currency. Were the men who looted the dead men’s bodies members of the Syrian Army or one of the rebel groups fighting the government?
If you want to be taken seriously, you’ve got to do a lot better at detailing the story.
He did mention in the headline the dead were Assad’s army personnel. Agreed, it might have been better with a bit more information but I think it got the point across.
1) Arabic characters in streamer on top of video…also, should be able to trace source.
2) Corpses seem to be wearing military body armor. And what seem to be helmet, camos, combat boots, and battle dress; low rent but better than nothing.
3) Translation of arabic header should yield some info.
Preponderance of evidence (not as strong as reasonable doubt) – story hangs together and fits in with other reports of Iranian infiltration and coaching.
First of all this is NOT staged! EVERYONE knows that the Iranian regime is pulling the Assad marionette strings so there’s nothing new to this…other than the fact that I have given you another view of what WE Iranians who work with various Syrian activists receive. I have nothing to gain by trying to sensationalize. I’m a professional who has spent a lifetime doing this work and rarely, IF EVER, stirred anyone in the wrong direction.
Third of all, I’m Iranian; I’m not an Arab! I don’t speak Arabic. I was very specific in the title AND I think you can see FOR YOURSELF that the bills that the guy pulls out of the dead soldier’s pocket has Khomeini’s face on it.
Please understand that I am not accusing you of inventing or sensationalizing anything. I am simply pleading for more context. When was this video taken? Where was it taken? Who are the people in it (dead and alive)? What are they saying? (Even if you don’t speak Arabic, you must know someone who does or be able to hire someone who could provide a reliable translation.) Also, do you have anything to substantiate that this is what you say it is? How do we know that you aren’t being tricked by some kind of propaganda? Or are you the videographer?
You probably know a lot more about what is happening in Iran and Syria than anyone reading this article. You should understand that and be guided by it in preparing information for us.
What is the point in all these chants of “Allahu Akbar”, i.e. God is Great, particularly after killing a bunch of guys with the same religion beliefs as you. It’s non-sense and reminds me of what happened in Libya and the lynching of Gaddafi. What may have started as an uprising for greater freedom in Syria has been reduced to an ethnic infighting encouraged by the least democratic forces in the Middle-East and their backers. It’s all bull-shit propaganda by vested interest groups pretending to want to spread ‘democracy’ and some journalists trying hard to make a career for themselves.

Points for accuracy:

I am unable to view videos. Please label the video only articles so I don’t waste time clicking on them.
Just keep in mind that Arabs are good at staging things. The Iranian cash could be real or it could be a plant.
