Charles Woods, father of former SEAL Ty Woods who was slain during the Benghazi attack, appeared on the Lars Larson radio show today. Mr. Woods told Larson that Obama’s behavior during the Sept 14 transfer of remains ceremony was strange and “cold.” He also said that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made him a promise:
Well, this is what Hillary did. She came over and, you know, she did the same thing, separately came over and talked with me. I gave her a hug, shook her hand, and she did not appear to be one bit sincere at all. She mentioned that thing about, “We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.” That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.
For what, was Clinton promising to have the filmmaker prosecuted?
Clinton made that promise on Sept 14, as the Obama administration was already swinging around toward blaming the film despite the evidence they had in hand that pointed toward terrorism. Later that week, the government would publicly identify the filmmaker, and then at midnight that Friday night, authorities arrested him and hauled him in for questioning. The media, tipped that the perp walk would happen, was there to capture it and broadcast it.
That filmmaker remains in jail and will not have a hearing until November 9, three days after the election.
Mr. Woods’ statement tells us that Hillary Clinton, the secretary of state, was already aware of an Obama administration plan to arrest him. This is evidence of a conspiracy at the very top of our government, both to deflect blame for the attack and to assault our First Amendment rights at the same time.
“Chilling” is applicable here, but barely does the situation justice.

There is no question at all that our Constitution FORBIDS searches and seizures without just cause or probable cause; and yet this kind of CRIMINAL ACTIVITY goes on everyday in the name of security. I’m hoping that some legal/civil rights groups will step up and help this filmmaker to bring both civil suits–false arrest, civil rights violations, false imprisonment under color of law, etc. and criminal charges against each and every individual and government entity involved in his arrest for what appears, at most,to be a minor parole violation that–according to justice professionals, does not usually result in such arrest, much less a long period in jail awaiting a hearing. Suits against the person who initiated the arrest process, the judge who OKed his arrest in the first place–if a judge was even involved–and the mob of what looked like a dozen or so stormtroopers who arrested him in the dead of night, then the judge who decided that he was a “flight risk,” and jailed him for these past 30 days.

There is something awfully convenient here that I haven’t heard mentioned. The guy was arrested on a parole violation, not for making the film.
Lets assume for one moment that team Obama identified this film long beforehand as a cover for any mideast violence, or possibly as a cover for some sort of “october surprise” involving an embassy hostage-rescue. If one were looking for something “offensive to muslims” published in the USA to blame events on, wouldn’t it make sense that the producer of said offensive material should have some other separate outstanding criminal offense that he could be arrested on? There is no shortage of “offensive” material published on the internet. Remember “draw mohammed day” on Facebook? No riots there. Just google Mohammed sometime if you’re bored, you’ll see what I mean. If the administration was looking for a fall guy it would be absolutely essential that he have something unrelated that they could perp-walk him on, to give the appearance of “justice”. I think they knew that they wouldn’t get away with arresting someone solely for publishing something offensive, Americans still care too much about the first amendment. They needed someone who produced something offensive and who also had a separate legal charge he could be perp-walked and indefinitely detained on. The fact that the muslims just happened to riot over a video produced by just such a person strikes me as very suspect.

I still want to know why they fingered Nakoula in particular. It also enrages me that NO one is talking about the savage persecution of the Christians in Egypt at the hands of the muslims.
Perhaps not so farfetched. I saw a show on Fox about the Benghazi attack and it stated that when Libyans found Stevens and realized he was breathing, they cheered. Why? The Reuters pictures that show him thrown over someone’s shoulder dragged through the streets and anonther, basically, sat on the ground for a “photo op”, don’t appear to be people handling the Ambassador in the way a medical emergency worker would. Very strange.

You forgot that a parole violation for computer fraud normally requires half a dozen armed Sheriff’s deputies to show up to roust you out of your bed in the middle of the night to take you away to jail, then waiting 2 months to give you a hearing.

I watched what happened to Richard Nixon. Back in the day, Former Presidents got an obligatory level of attention from the press. Apart from politics, it was an honor due. Nixon, however, disappeared.
Benghazi will destroy Barack Obama far more completely than Watergate ever did Nixon. Depending upon proven involvement, it will get Hillary too.
The American people romanticized Bonnie and Clyde, but they will NEVER romanticize those responsible for Benghazi. I strongly suspect, when the President of the United States could not look Mr. Woods in the eye, the President knew this.
Even if Obama wins re-election, if his Benghazi sin was blatant enough, he will be impeached. And if it was his specific order which kept an armed American security presence out of Benghazi, having been briefed on the continuing threats in the town, even a Democratic-controlled Senate will be forced to convict.

Don’t put anything past Harry Reid and co. I have yet to think of a scenario that would cause them to actually convict this president that wouldn’t already have triggered some sort of rebellion. My heart is very sad for Mr. Woods. I lost my 27 year old daughter almost three years ago. During a parent’s intense grief, the words and sincerity of all those around you reverberate the bubble you feel you are living in.
