—apologies to Paul McCartney, and “Band on the Run”
Yes, I killed bin Laden
He is dead forever
It was my gutsy call
For you…
America, for you…
No, you’ve never anything to fear
That’s what I’ve got to say
I reached out in my Cairo speech
The magic of my rhetoric will sway
No, you’ve never anything to fear
No, you’ve never anything to fear…
The compound exploded with a mighty crash
From rocket-propelled grenades
And though four Americans were brutally killed
We will not admit mistakes were made
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
You have got to know it was a video
That’s why all of the damage was done
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
You should ignore those calls from the Ambassador
For more security out there
How e’er could we predict? You know that we were tricked
Intelligence was not aware
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
You have got to know it was a video
That’s why all of the damage was done
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
Well, there is nothing quite like an Arab Spring
To bring the Caliphate to pass
But look dispassionately at my policies
And you’ll see I’ve been an ass
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
It seems I’ve overreached, so I’ll drop from my speech
And hope that you’ll ignore
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run
Al Qaeda’s on the run; al Qaeda’s on the run

This is good. I don’t usually comment on the Buzzballads and as a 60-70′s enthusiast I have to say Buzz almost killed some of my favorites.
So Buzz, why don’t you pick on something nobody ever listened? Niky Minaj or sumething. That’s a target rich environment. Justin Bieber. Paris Hilton. Whatehvah. But not the classics.
The whole point of a song parody is to get into people’s minds—for which you need something that people know. There is an additional reason to use “classics,” which is that they tend to have enough of a lyric to have something to work with; most modern songs have very little lyric structure.
If the parody sticks in your mind, it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.
Me thinks Hussein bin Obama is on the run.
This article with it’s melodious satirical slander against our beloved and heroic Dear Leader is totally unacceptable. Although it may be true that Dear Leader may not have had the time to take from his very busy schedule of building the American economy to ever more robust levels to personally lead the meet and greet of this terrible misunderstand of the Religion of Peace that you mention, Dear Leader used his superior knowledge of all his different branches of arithmetic: ambition, distraction, falsification and derision, to precisely calculate the flight path that the Navy Seals, all of whom dearly love him, took from one of the 57 states in our homeland to travel all the way to the upside down part of the world to arrive at precisely the right place in Pokeystan to carry out his meticulously detailed plan for success to the best of their abilities. And fortunately as Dear Leader had given them all copies of Dreams From My Father to read and tapes of his speeches to listen to on their journey, they were sufficiently inspired by the time they got there to be able to carry out Dear Leader’s precise instructions. They may have perspired, but it was certainly Dear Leader who inspired. God’s don’t perspire anyway. Everybody knows that.
Imagine there’s no Islam
It’s hard but you can try
No suicide hijackers coming down at us
Above us only sky
Imagine all those people
Still alive today…
Imagine there’s no Islamic countries
It’s hard but you can try
No Mohammad for them to kill or die for
And no Imams too
Imagine all the Christians, Jews and Infidels
Living life without them…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday all dhimmis will join us
And the non-Islamic world will be as one
Imagine no Burkhas and no stonings
I wonder if you can
No need for Medina or Meca
A brotherhood of non-Islamic woman and man
Imagine all the people
Living without Sharia…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday all dhimmis will join us
And the non-Islamic world will be as one
