Obama spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter was tragically wrong when she accused Romney and Ryan of making a political issue of Benghazi. But now that she has fired off the accusation, and Biden had his say in Thursday night’s debate, Romney and Ryan are free to talk about Benghazi all they want.
And they are. Here’s Romney from earlier today in Richmond, VA.
Cutter’s and Biden’s comments have opened Pandora’s Box. The media that is already skeptically fact-checking the Obama administration on this will not be able to deny coverage when Romney and Ryan directly criticize and allege cover-up. The story is too big even for the New York Times to wish away.
What I’m saying is, break out your popcorn.
Biden acted like a Democrat arguing- first question on Benghazi he changed the subject, then LIED LIED and DENIED- everyone else knew within 24 hours that the film had nothing to do with it, yet we were subject to hearing the Pres and Rice and more bleat their lies about it for over a week. Even they admit they were wrong now yet Biden doubled down on the coverup of their ineptitude– oh look squirrel- then we had to hear Obama stick up for ISLAM not being insulted and not for our rights to free speech and the real reason for the attacks (it was 9-11 duh).
I can’t say I was totally happy with Ryan in this debate there was so much more he could have said and I wish he could speak with a little more enthusiasm or excitement. But he was very cool under the barrage of rudeness and a moderator who could not control the time or rules.
But Biden showed his butt repeatedly- Is foreign policy funny? He expects R’s to “walk across the aisle” when he laughs in their faces. So little respect for an opponent, why should they give you the time of day? RUDE RUDE RUDE- 82 interruptions!!!! can’t win? talk over the other person’s answer? After he quit laughing then he got red in the face with ANGER- someone shoulda told him that’s what the R’s are supposed to be: angry.
Biden you were a rude, condescending pig-but Dems probably liked it. After all they all use the same style in any forum- you all stink from the TOP DOWN. And America saw you acting with less decorum than a third grader
I consider this story standing on its own as big as the presidential campaign that is sitting on our heads and crushing them. I think we all need this scandal to be fully aired and reported, for the sake of our national security and for the health of our political institutions.
