His unfortunate remark is all over the place. Referring to the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff said “I don’t want to be complicit if they choose to do it,”
Earth to Dempsey: OK, I won’t blame you. But you can be sure that most of the world, with the Iranian regime at the front of the mob, will have no doubts about the complicity of the United States. They think they “know” that Israel is the long arm of the United States in the Middle East, and would never do anything of such magnitude without an American green light.
Ergo, your expressed desires are just filed in the “disinformation” cabinet.

I know nothing about Dempsey, but he should be fired for the stupidity of this one remark alone.
I know something about the good General that I feel is quite odd. In a way he reminds me of one of my classmates at the Infantry School at Ft. Benning many years ago. Most of us were Inf 2nd Lts, but a couple were 1st Lts from another branch who were after a career in the Regular Army. In those days, non-combat arms Regular Army officers were required to attend one of the combat arms schools. This 1st Lt of Finance chose the Infantry School.
But he made what most of us thought was a rather unfortunate choice in extra gear, and we had quite a few laughs about it, outside of his hearing (Hey he was a 1st Lt). When we wore field gear, packs, rifles, etc. he wore an additional item, a huge bowie type of knife. We guessed he was preparing to cut the budget or something.
Now Gen Dempsey seems to often wear the equivalent of a tuxedo, the full dress uniform, to work instead of the Class A uniform. Very strange.
Israel is being thrown under the bus by the BLT Marxist, and company agenda. What are the examples in history for countries that support Israel’s enemies?
I realize a lot of folks do not believe as I do about life, and this world, but history gives us good examples to learn from. Plus, Israel does not exist for the sake of the Jews. It exists, because G-d keeps his word when humans can not. I fear G-d more than I fear this world system.

The very idea that BHO could/would support Israel is ludicrous. He loves the Jews when they are contributing to his campaign. Otherwise, they can go pound sand as far as he is concerned. Mike is likely correct that Dempsey’s comment came directly from the WH.

Dempsey jus got off his plane in Afghanistan when it was hit with rocket fire. It is odd that he would make such a stupid remark considering Israel is the only country in the middle east where he can land his plane safely.
