So it turns out the shooter, excuse me, “alleged shooter” at the Family Research Council in Washington DC said “I don’t like your politics,” before opening fire.
Long decrying so-called “hateful rhetoric” from the right, the left has blamed us for everything from the Gabby Giffords shooting to the Aurora massacre. So where is the left now? Where are the liberals saying “hateful rhetoric” from the left caused this “tragedy?”
Where are the lefties decrying the labeling of FRC a “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center?
Since the beginning of the Occupy Movement, and all the leashed violence across the nation it generated, I’ve waited and watched, wondering when the real violence would begin. So you tell me, is this the beginning? Will the left, so enamored of an ideology which has killed millions across the world, finally show their true colors?
It is not the right which has labeled their political opponents “hate groups.” It is not the right which has consistently demonized their political opponents as racists, misogynists and homophobes. It is not the right which has consistently painted their political opponents as not just wrong, not just misguided, but as evil.
No, it’s the left which has done this, and the patterns of history are clear where socialism and communism are concerned. It starts with demonization and it ends in death camps, gulags and the killing fields.
And so it begins …
For left/liberals, “hate” groups are only ones they hate… not ones they like and, especially, not themselves.

There won’t be any condemnation of this shooting or the violence to come from the MSM or liberal groups. It won’t surprise me if very soon through tweets, Facebook pages, or even openly stated in interviews on “comedy” acts if we see dismay that people weren’t killed and a lot of them. Truth is, they want Conservatives and Christians gone. Millions sat aside and watched the Ukrainians, Kulaks, Jews, and anyone with enough education to question the dictator were liquidated in the tens of millions. Millions of others even cheered and helped out. It’s a mistake to think that can’t happen here.
It has always been the technique of the progressive left, to USE every means, available, to support and secure their political power. Propaganda is important for them, they never let a good crises go to waste and the end justifies the means.
IMO, those on the political right are far more likely to be armed, but less likely to inflict injury or death on their fellow citizens.
Those on the left are far more likely to resort to violence, but as a rule seem to be far less likely to be armed except for a small hard core sub-group.
I’d suggest to all right thinking people that the time is long past to consider arming yourselves to defend against such crazies.
May not be necessary in the long run, and if so then you purchased insurance you never had to use.
On the other hand, if you DO need those weapons it is far better to get them now while you can and it is legal than to wait until you need them and find such items unavailable….
But there’s the rub: If a Conservative kills a liberal in self-defense the Conservative will get nailed by the media.
Truth has no bearing here, only images and spin. Take this hypothetical situation. Some Conservatives go to the polls. A gang of liberals are there talking smack and getting in people’s faces. One of them illegally blocks the Conservative. The Conservative accidentally bumps them. The thug shoves the Conservative. The Conservative charges the thug swinging, gets in a hit then is mobbed by the thug’s buddies. General mayhem then breaks out and the polls are closed.
Now, assuming MSM cameras are present and recorded the lot, what would they show? Dollars to doughnuts it would start with the Conservative charging in. The spin would be “Conservative Voters Attacks Innocent Poll Watcher.” That’s the kind of thing you can bet they want to happen. They’ve been trying hard to entrap someone into such a thing at Tea Party and other rallies, but it hasn’t happened. Attacks against Conservatives by liberals have happened and even been filmed, they just never made the MSM.
Simply put, everyone needs to stay cool and not give them the spin they want. That’s not saying if some liberal wacko walks up shooting folks shouldn’t shoot back. My point is that around the upcoming conventions, speeches, etc., stay cool and let security handle the situation. Don’t do anything the liberal media will misrepresent against Conservatives. Most likely ignoring the thugs will only make them worse and make them do something violent first. The point then is to make THEM look the violent ones even if it means running away. The media will either have to bury the story and be embarrassed as full length video turns up on the net, spin it with the same results, or maybe actually have to tell the truth for once.
Lots of hateful actions occurred prior to die Kristallnacht as well, they are just not as well known now that some 3/4 of a century has passed.
Put your advice into the context of those times and see if it remains valid.
I don’t believe we are at such a stage right now in our nation’s history – but it also doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen here at some point in the future. The rise to power of those responsible for Kristallnacht happened over a relatively short period of time in an age when horses still constitued a major form of transportation, telephones were the toys of the wealthy, the idea of tv was a novelty, and radios were behemoths squatting in the corner of the room, air travel remained the option of the affluent and dirigibles were seriously considered for transportation.
Imagine how fast events of that long ago era would take to transpire were they to have also had the modern cell phone and internet.
I don’t disagree that tea party types shouldn’t be on guard as to what image the media can wring out of a video and they have to be that much more careful of their actions – but should a would be murderer show up at a conservative event like that one who shot up the conservative organization in DC this week then the intended victims should be prepared to defend themselves.
Better now than when it is too late.
I would suggest that violence may well be inevitable, particularly if the nitwit currenly occupying the White House is reelected. The problem for the left, is they really as a general rule have no idea what that means. They are a mob, not an army. While the right is much less likely to resort to violence than the left, we’re more likely to know how to inflict it properly.
In the words of my father “Before you start a fight, make sure it’s one you can finish.” The fight the left is preparing to start is one they simply cannot finish.

Starting a fight makes you a bully and a coward, finishing it makes society safer.
Indeed, they really are enamored of that murderous ideology. It’s astounding how it endures. I have also often wondered if the State worshipping fools that hate Hitler and the Nazis realize that the welfare state they so love is the product of another German dictator – Bismarck.
It endures because totalitarianism is all about dictating to others what they should think, how they should act, etc. When you think it’s your right to tell everyone else how to live, what do you do when they fail to comply? Especially if they rely on things like “rights” and “laws,” or antique documents like “the Constitution” as support for their mutiny against you?
Of course lefties/totalitarians always end up killing off their fellow countrymen, because, in their eyes, they cannot tolerate anyone disagreeing with them and not complying with their dictates. So wanting to defend traditional marriage becomes “hate speech.” Disagreeing with the President makes you a racist. And when they fail to find any evidence which supports their bogus charges, they scream “dog whistles!” as if that explains anything.
Look at all the incorrect, stereotypical assumptions about tea partiers in this article and tell me it doesn’t concern you.

They’re already busily wargaming how to fight and defeat us, people. They’ve finally started showing themselves for what they really are; it’s time to wake up our sleeping neighbors so they can see it, as well.
