Former “Saturday Night Live” funnyman Jon Lovitz is seemingly continuing to audition for a job as a cable news talking head. The comedian, who’s been a vocal critic of President Obama in the past (most recently calling him a “f—ing a–hole” during a podcast) has taken to — where else? — Twitter to speak out about the President’s recent comments.
“I didn’t build my business, either,” Lovitz tweeted yesterday, along with a photo of the president holding his Nobel Peace Prize with text over the photo reading, “Nobel Peace Prize? You didn’t earn that. Somebody else made that happen.”

I always liked him, but now even more so. In addition, I respect him. His opinions cannot be popular within the community he is a part of.
The problem with this is that in Obama’s case it actually is a true statement, not an ironic one. Out of all the personages associated with his getting the award, he did the least.
I dunno. Arguably, Yassir Arafat did more to promote violence than peace, so his efforts towards “peace” can be measured as a negative amount. BO has done nothing, zero, and a negative value is still less than zero.
Rather than the Nobel Prize, it should be the office of President itself.
He didn’t earn either one but the Nobel Prize is already a joke so it’s like saying the Criminal has big ears.
It will be fun to see if the Liberal media pounces on Lovitz. Then we can use their line when protecting Maher. He’s just a comedian.
I must, alas, disagree. Certainly Obama did nothing to obtain the Peace Prize, no? Wrong! Obama did exactly that what the leftist Nobel judges wanted. What? Obama had already rejected American “national interests” as a foreign policy duty of the president of the USA for a reduction of American interests to “international” or “global” interests. I do not think that Obama’s military undertakings are seen by the Nobel Prize judges as contrary to peace. What was wanted was and is the decision to jettison American interests in favor of some sort of global interests. Military actions in service of globalization peace are not contrary to peace, rather a “kinetic” means to it. I doubt the Nobel judges find now anything of principle to objefct to relative the the president of “peace”.
Al Franken, Senator.
You didn’t earn that.
Someone else….won the election.
