Today the Mitt Romney campaign released what could turn out to be the pivotal video and theme of the presidential campaign. The simply produced video uses the president’s infamous “You didn’t build that” speech, and Romney’s Pennsylvania speech from Tuesday, to go point-counterpoint to show a clear contrast between the beliefs and visions of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Take a look.

Elizabeth Warren agrees with Obama.

Mitt: you found a nail. Keep pounding on it. Pound on the increase of our welfare rolls, of free “0bamaphones”, or subsidies for companies of donors, now bankrupt. Pound and pound some more.
“We built this City”
Has Obama ever built ANYTHING? I highly doubt it. So, I’m not suprised that he has a difficult time grasping the concept of “who” built “what”.
PS. The next time I hear Team Obama talk about outsourcing jobs, I’d like to hear Romney remind the voting public of Obama’s de facto amnesty of 700,000 illegal aliens. Realistically, Obama managed to outsource about 300,000 jobs to illegal aliens, right here in America. To give you some idea of how many jobs that is, that’s like a company The size of General Electric, hiring no one but illegals.
I love how from Willard’s very first ad which distorted what the President said to now this distortion. Or maybe even the guy who discovered this (I think his name is Shaw) as well as most people here actually think the President said what you think he said. Sorry but he was referring to the fact that the businesses didn’t build the roads or bridges or infrastructure. One would have to be a real idiot to hear what he said and infer that he was saying that the person didn’t build his own business. But then when Romney is having such a bad few weeks then I guess any raft in a storm.
“Build it and they will come.” works in weird baseball movies, but not for “successful” government. Roads and bridges are built with tax dollars, and businesses contribute. Roads and bridges aren’t built unless there is a reasonable expectation of their being used. Governments know that certain businesses want to build in a location, and then, usually, governments move, after they see a need generated by businesses. There are governments who are wildly optimistic, and they build infrastructure hoping some business will take advantage of them. Governments are more likely to build a boondoggle than would be a private company, or a corporation to do so.
You might as well face facts: Obama probably cost himself the election on Friday. That little sneer while he insulted the pursuit of the American dream will not play well with independents at all it has helped rally his opponents.
Well the drip drip drip of Romney’s taxes are getting deeper. It appears he forgot to make public his 2010 FBAR which lists all his Foreign accounts which he must have filed with the IRS. This would show foreign accounts in which no interest was received and only used for transactions. He disclosed his Swiss account because he receive interest on that money. His Swiss account was opened in 2003.
Now Bryan you know how much I like you even if you have backed a loser. Put up Mitch Daniels and the Republicans have a chance. But Romney? Heck I doubt his father or mother would like what he’s turned into as he has reputed their beliefs which he use to be proud of.
A Boston Liberal?…Are you Cherokee?…I heard there were lots of Cherokees there…
Mittens a loser? Which makes Obozo what, a winner? Good grief. Get a grip.
